You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 4-5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a winery plus a visit to the scenic village of Lefkara. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, honey, donkey milk products and traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch.

What To Expect
We'll pick you up from an Ayia Napa / Protaras location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. When booking with Cyprus Taste Tours - you'll be supporting a small local business and helping to keep the culture & traditions of the island alive!
Troodos Mountains
We'll tour the Troodos mountain villages for a full day of foodie fun! We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life - we cannot guarantee which stops we'll be including... However you can be sure that you'll visit 5 fantastic places within the Troodos mountain villages and experience a foodie day out like no other! Some of the possible spots are listed below but others cannot be found on Tripadvisor and will not appear on the list. All applicable entrance fees, tastings and lunch costs are included in the price.

5.00This was an all-round successful excursion, which we can recommend 100%. Our tour guide Helena was absolutely top! She certainly took us from one highlight to the next and took very warm care of us (6 people). We visited many beautiful places and ate very, very delicious everywhere. We liked everything very much. The care / communication was already very good in advance. We were contacted several times and provided with up-to-date information. The transfer from the hotel to the meeting point and back worked great. The vehicles were spotlessly clean and all the people involved in the tour were extremely friendly. Book this excursion - you will appreciate the great day. Thanks especially to you, Helena - you are great!

5.00We went on this beautiful tour beginning of November and we have to say it is what made our trip to Cyprus. We stayed in Cyprus for around 7 days and discovered this tour online an wanted to give it a go. A small group of 6, who bounced off each others dynamic and got along really well as a fun group, were showed the most amazing destinations by our tour guide Panicos. Panicos' humour, knowledge and own personal stories is what really allowed us to enjoy this trip to the max. He explained everything in so much detail and was able to answer all of our questions, even the ridiculous ones :D Wherever we stopped, we were welcomed with open arms and the hosts took the time to converse with us and make sure we were all satisfied (which we were more than). We are already planning our next trip back here as we have fallen in love with the culture, food, people and history. We will definitely be doing this tour again when visiting! Thank you Panicos + Cyprus Taste Tours :)

5.00A great way to see more 'natural' villages, together with a monastery and Russian church. The lunch stop was amazing with too much food within a great setting. As always many stops to pick people up gets a bit tedious but the guide was great as was the driver

5.00I had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The animal experience was a highlight. Spending time with the friendly, curious goats and the sweet donkeys brought a smile to my face that lasted the entire day. When it came to the culinary side of things, the experience only got better. The wine selection was fantastic! And ohh, the food! Every dish was a masterpiece of flavor and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend to everyone! Thank you very much for the amazing experience!

5.00It's been an amazing experience. We have been able to get to know the inner Cyprus, visiting local farms and tasting the products of the island. We were also able to visit a donkey farm, visit the beautiful village of Lefkara, eat in a typical Tavern and taste in a winery the wines of Cyprus. Thank you also to our guide, Helena who could not have explained the history of this great little country better. We totally recommend it!

5.00The Cyprus Taste Tours team will contact you in advance with various information and questions about allergies, vegi etc. The pickup in Ayia Napa went smoothly. This tour is worthwhile, already the drive through the Troodos Mountains is very nice, the tastings are very well selected by the provider. If you want to try local stuff, you will definitely get your money's worth on this tour. Helena does her job with a lot of knowledge and with sooo much joy. She has a lot of experience, is actually retired and yet she still brings everyone on the minibus on the island of Cyprus, the mountains, the people and the specialties, so that the day will be remembered best. The Cyprus Taste Tours team puts a lot of energy and passion into this tour. They bring you very close to Cyprus, in a great way. Everything TOP! And again: Helena - you did a great job. 5.00This was one of my most memorable trips. The guide Helena was incredibly skilled in her job with broad experience in her field. Lots of good food and drinks. Such a trip is perfect for anyone who doesn't like big buses, we only have 7 in a car with good air conditioning. This is a trip that requires a lot of your energy and it is recommended to add a relaxing day the day after because you will be tired and tired from this trip in a good and positive way. On this trip we got to experience cultural food and cultural places with nice good stories from the past. If you are interested in history, this is the trip for you. We got a lot for the money and it is really worth experiencing with those you love. I will not forget this experience and highly recommend booking such a trip through this company, they are serious and treat travelers with respect and consideration. They pick you up and deliver you to where you are and it is very nice.
