Llanos de Cortez is one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful waterfalls. The falls are wide and wispy, with thin streams of water tumbling along the mossy rocks. Rocky cliffs are visible through the transparent cascade, thick forest surrounds the fall and at the base of the falls is a nice pool that is good for swimming or wading, and there is a sandy area to just hang out and relax.

Wendy & Ernesto were amazing. They came and picked us up. He took great photos of us and was very informative about the country and plants and animals we saw. It was an absolute blast. He was very kind, and the kids also enjoyed it. Even the rain was fun. Highly recommend. Thank you so much for the great time and photos

This was a 2nd tour booked with the company and just like the 1st tour, we had an amazing time and experience. We were with Ricardo and Martin. Both provided such phenomenal experience for our family! Ricardo was personable, friendly, very knowledgeable providing fun facts about Costa Rica culture, flora and fauna. He was very accommodating to our family's needs and we loved every second with him. We saw 2 sloths, frogs, birds, insects, enjoyed the rainforest, coffee/chocolate making, an amazing costa rica style lunch and the llanos de cortes waterfall! Such a great and memorable experience! Book your tour with this company! Pura vida!

Our guide was Maurice and our driver was Alfonso. We had such an incredible day, they were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, sharing so much information about the country and going above and beyond on the rainforest hike to point out all the animals, bird noises, etc. Highly recommend, its so much packed into one day!

Our family had an amazing experience. Seeing the waterfalls, tasting the fresh coffee and chocolate, and seeing the creatures in the rainforest was an amazing time. Would highly recommend our guide Ernesto. He was knowledgeable and helped us see some great wildlife. Recommend bringing rain jackets as it can start raining in the jungle at a moments notice.

I really enjoyed this experience! Considering the ambient heat and drought in the area, finding freshness, greenery and rain was a balm on the heart. Alejandro was kind, helpful and very human. The fact that transportation was included was definitely a benefit, especially for solo travelers, like me, or those who didn't want to rent a car. The size of the group was perfect, about 14 people.

If you only do one excursion while in Costa Rica, make it this one! We had a big family group and our guides Maurice, Alfonso and driver Manuel were awesome. Maurice pointed out the wildlife and was very knowledgeable about the habitat. We loved the coffee and cocoa stop along the way, a fun and educational treat that even the kids enjoyed. The local cuisine lunch was my favorite meal of the whole trip, a real stand out! This excursion was the highlight of our week and we highly recommend it!
