What To Expect

Cataratas Llanos de Cortes

Llanos de Cortez is one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful waterfalls. The falls are wide and wispy, with thin streams of water tumbling along the mossy rocks. Rocky cliffs are visible through the transparent cascade, thick forest surrounds the fall and at the base of the falls is a nice pool that is good for swimming or wading, and there is a sandy area to just hang out and relax.

Heliconias Hanging Bridges Trails

Heliconias has an access to one of the most important activities in Costa Rica, visit a Real Tropical Rain Forest… with 3 amazing hanging bridges that traverse the forest canopy ranging from 35 to 40 meters in height.. At the slopes of the Tenorio Volcano, this two-hour hike with many stops to see the variety of flora and fauna in the surrounding evergreen jungle will astonish you.

We had a fabulous time on this tour. Our guide was with Cesar. We enjoyed all aspects from waterfall, sloth sanctuary, and rainforest and hanging bridges. The lunch was delicious. Great tour, well worth the money!! Thank you!

This was truly an amazing experience. Visiting the waterfalls, plantation, sanctuary, and hanging bridges were beautiful. We learned so much about the rich culture of Costa Rica and Andy was a great guide. I will definitely be recommending this excursion to my travel clients that visit the area. Andy and Kevin from the sanctuary ensured we had tons of pictures and memories and we had such a great time. I definitely recommend bringing some light snacks for earlier in the day as the lunch is a little later in your excursion but it was tasty!

We had a fantastic day with Caesar, our guide. First of all, he was very fun and engaging. We saw sloths, a toucan, a small pit viper, a dart frog, all up close, crossed 3 HIGH hanging bridges, had a delicious lunch, and waded in by a nice waterfall. Oh, and if that wasn't enough, we attended a coffee and cocoa demo, where we helped roast the beans and made ourselves some all natural drinks! You won't regret going on this one. Bring rainwear if you don't like getting wet... It's a rainforest, folks!

Had a great experience! The waterfall & hike was amazing. The food from the waterfall cafe was absolutely amazing. The taste was incredible. The coffe & coco was also very good. Shoutout Harold for the incredible tour!

Harold was very knowledgeable about the different animals, pointed out multiple sloths and toucans, while pulling the van over for us to get a closer look. He was willing to take multiple photos of our family/ individuals. Lastly he gave a lot of fun facts about Costa Rica and very funny and friendly.

The experience on this trip was great. The group size was good. The driver Gustavo was very experienced and would stop to show us different birds and monkeys that he spotted on the way. Andy the guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about Costa Rica and showed us a lot on the way to the hanging bridges. The guide at the rainforest Kevin spotted a lot of different creatures and birds. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This trip was long and definitely worth the money spent. We saw plenty of wildlife and I saw many different parts of Costa Rica. The lunch provided was very delicious. Our driver, Noelvuen, was very knowledgeable and kind. His English was very good and he put a lot of effort into making sure we saw everything there was to see on our journey.
