Tsuwano is a small rural town that has remarkably succeeded in preserving so much of Japan’s ancient traditions and historical landscapes until today.
A great symbol of this is the "Hyakkeizu: One Hundred Sceneries of Tsuwano from the Edo period”, designated as Japan’s National Heritage, containing 100 paintings of the Tsuwano feudal domain
about 160 years ago.
In this 3 hour electric bike cycling tour, we will discover Tsuwano by plunging into the world of the 100 Sceneries.
This is Yu-nas signature tour that we recommend as the first tour that visitors should experience when they visit Tsuwano.

Thanks to the use of an electric bike and the meticulous pace of the guides, I was able to enjoy the ride to the fullest, even if I wasn't sure of my physical fitness! The guides also explain in easy-to-understand language, so you can fully enjoy the deep charm of Tsuwano's history and culture without prior knowledge. Best of all, I was surprised to see an emotional surprise waiting for us at the end! The content will be kept secret as it will be spoilers, but you can feel the meticulous craftsmanship and ingenuity of the tour throughout, and it was a series of surprises and emotions from start to finish ✨

A superb way to explore Tsuwano and learn more about its history and culture. Alessandro, our guide, was excellent, very generous with his knowledge and enthusiasm, showing us hidden corners of the delightful town that we would never have found alone. Using images from the Tsuwano Hyakkeizu to contrast the past and present was a great way to frame the tour.

Tsuwano said, "I want to go there someday!" But we didn’t get the chance to do it in a very far place… But we did get to visit this time! The small town was filled with many history and beautiful scenery that remain intact, and I felt a deep love for Tsuwano in the explanation of the guide. Living in a crowded city, I was able to touch the original landscape of Japan, which I had almost forgotten, and it was very refreshing! It was a great tour to remember and I would love to visit Tsuwano in a different season again! Thank you very much.

The tour gave me a lot of power from the rich nature and history. There is a peaceful landscape that makes you feel nostalgic and calms you down naturally. Mr. Ale, our guide, told us a very fascinating story, and we were able to touch on the history and the thoughts that have been preserved so far, comparing the hundred views to the current situation. It was a truly special experience, one that gave me strength from both nature and history.

The view of the town seemed like a place was isolated from the real world. It brought a sense of nostalgia. Words from the guide broadened my imagination of the old castle town. Ale, our guide, was so friendly, knowledgeable and informative! I’m sure that I was in the present day but I felt as if I was in the old Tsuwano town while cycling. Great time travel! The bike ride was enjoyable and easy to cycle around. Be time traveller!

Guided tours contrasting old maps with the landscape of Tsuwano today are not superficial sightseeing, and you become attached to Tsuwano Next, I want to participate in the long course! I'm not going to Tsuwano anymore!

This tour was the first time I got to know what is called Tsuwano Hyakkeizu! I happened to have an opportunity to go on the tour, where I might pass through on a regular basis, but the tour was fun because I discovered so much while listening to the stories! I would also like to revisit other hundred sights that I did not visit this time.

I signed up for the tour because I found it interesting on YouTube while doing some preliminary research before the trip. It was a three-hour tour, but it felt like it was over very quickly. It was a lot of fun. It was the first time for us to participate in the tour, but we were also very happy to hear from our guide Yui, who took us to places that we had never been to before or couldn't go. I wanted to revisit it and join a different tour.

It wasn’t just a cycling tour of sightseeing spots, but a “yui” trip that allowed locals and visitors to “connect heart to heart” through scenery and culture. Tour guide Yui's words convey "Ai Tsuano". Respect for the local people and the history of the area led to the creation of a warm welcoming environment for tourists in the places they visited, and they said, "I want to visit Tsuwano again!" I think we will create a feeling of “This is what I want.” Three hours of the tour, sweaty as it turned out Now I want to stay again slowly and enjoy Tsuwano! I was helped by Yui's attention to detail when cycling in midsummer. Thank you so much for your support!

I experienced Tsuwano cycling with three men. It was a hot day in August, but my guide, Yui-chan, took various measures against the heat and I was able to participate with peace of mind. They were very resourceful, changing their course due to sudden rain, and I was able to go to local shops like apothecary, liquor store, and sweet shop, which I would pass by if I came by car. Now I'm going to come with my family slowly. Thank you very much.
