What To Expect
In this unique cooking course, you will get to know Tunisian cuisine with a local family. Each participant chooses their favorite dishes from a rich list. Whether vegan or meat lover, there is something for everyone. - Together we will buy the necessary ingredients at the market in Sousse. We will never ask you to pay for anything, no matter what dishes you have chosen. - Afterwards, we will drive to our home, a house of dreams, where a fortifying snack will be waiting for you. - Then, we will cook your dishes together. As we eat together, we enjoy the food together as a family. - We end this special cooking class with traditional Tunisian sweets and tea while relaxing together in our garden. 9:00 – 9:30 Pick-up from the hotel to the market 9:30 – 10:00 Meet the other participants and choose dishes 10:00 – 11:30 Visting the market and buying items for the class 11:30 - 12:00 Small breakfast at our home 12:00 – 15:30 Cooking at our home and enjoying food 15:30 - 16:00 Relaxing end to the trip with Tunisian sweets 16:00 – 16:30 Drive back to the hotel !The cooking course is ALWAYS conducted by us personally!

5.00Must definitely do this!! We absolutely loved meeting Nabil and his wife. Nabil picked us up promptly from our hotel and first took us to the Souk in the Medina of Sousse. It was great wondering around the old streets and seeing small shops with local traders on and they were all very friendly. We bought some food ingredients and then when back to his house and met his wife. We had a small selection of drinks and snacks to eat, awaiting us, which were lovely. Then it was through to the kitchen to start preparing the vegetables for our dinner. We made a fabulous starter and main course and it was very interesting putting all the ingredients together for a very authentic Tunisian meal. It was a great 6 hours and well worth the money. Would definitely recommend!!
