Overall great experience! Also, great value for the price. Couldn't see that much when snorkeling but that's always expected, however you can see a lot of species in the refuge. I feel it's almost guaranteed you will see some animals running around in one of the trails.

We choose the 9:00am-12:30am snorkeling tour with calmer seas! Miguel and our Captain were very knowledgeable of the area, knew to go early so we could miss the crowds at the snorkel site, assisted my husband with getting in and out of the boat with extra care, and then set up fruit and beverages on a remote beach to avoid the crowded one that charged for chairs and toilets. Extremely kind! If the fisherman is in the beach with fresh harvested oysters and scallops… they are prepared the Costa Rica way (red onion, lime juice, and hot sauce) and delicious!
