It is an incredible opportunity to witness this miraculous natural process.
During the night, turtles come to the beach and lay eggs. To protect these eggs, a qualified team takes them and places them in a turtle sanctuary to protect them from predators.
After a briefing you will be given a freshly hatched baby turtle that you will release on the beach. Cheer them all on as they run to sea!
As this is based on hatchlings, the location of the tour may change on the day.

When our driver Benjamin picked us up he was very nice, informative about culture and answered our crazy questions. The two men (I’m very bad with names) were so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. All 4 of us were extremely pleased with this tour and would recommend to everyone to help the turtles!

Super special experience which I shared with my husband and children. The baby turtles were amazing, the educational talk was great, and our driver was wonderful. He took us downtown for dinner as per our request. Would definitely recommend! !

The tour was amazing. We were picked up right at our resort. Ulises had amazing communication and was quick to answer any questions we had! Our tour guide was Fabulous Fabian who truly was fabulous. He really cared for us the guests and ensured we were having a good time and that everyone was feeling safe and satisfied! The turtle release was incredible and very uplifting, we each got to hand deliver 10+ turtles to the ocean and there were 6 of us. Very knowledgeable at SOS rescue they were very informative and could tell they loved their jobs! Overall definitely recommend to anyone considering!

It’s out of the way and a bit of a drive, but worth it in every way. Is private so you don’t have to deal with others and the owner gives you his full attention. The kids loved it!!

Our guide, Benjamin, picked us up from our hotel. To our great satisfaction he spoke French very well, having studied some but in France. During the trip, we were able to ask him thousands of questions about Mexico. Benjamin took us to an intimate beach where we were able to release about 40 young turtles from a single nest. Benjamin translated all the explanations that the person in charge of the place gave us. The moment of release was very moving. the small turtles rushed to the sea and disappeared in the first wave. It was an exceptional moment that we will not forget. Thank you Benjamin for allowing us to live this moment.

Enjoyed the educational talk about the various breeds of turtles and, unfortunately, the risks that they have today which are mostly man made. It was heartwarming to release some onto the beach and watch them make their way into the ocean, knowing only a small few will reach adulthood. The sanctuary rely on your donations to continue their good work in trying to preserve the turtles.

What an amazing experience. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the Sanctuary. The whole experience was amazing. We were so lucky to be the only 2 people there so released turtles and learnt alot too. They do amazing work which relies on volunteers. Such a worthy cause.

Very educational and Emotional to know these wonderful creatures will probably be extinct within the next 50 yrs or so, despite the efforts of organizations like this. Glad to be able to be part of the efforts to save them.

This was such an amazing trip, Ulysses and Uber were incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable of the area. Once we got to the turtle beach we took a 4 wheeler to the turtles, got an amazing presentation on the different turtles and frequencies of their visit to the beach. Afterwords my wife and I got to see and release about a hundred turtles to the water. They were so eager to find the waters edge, absolutely amazing!!! On the way back Ulysses took us to an amazing taco stand where we tried Goat Tacos. Absolutely delicious. Thank you guys for the once in a lifetime excursion, we’ll never forget it.
