Be welcome in our beautiful Glamping Tent for a coffee and snacks under the starry african sky next to the beach to listen the briefing that will provide all the information about sea turtles. Enjoy the moon, the stars, the mountains, the ocean and the turtles laying eggs in their natural habitat. An adventure that you can not miss.

What To Expect
In small groups of maximum 10 people, in order to respect the turtles, during the turtle watching adventure you will be able to witness the loggerhead sea turtles laying eggs on their natural habitat. They come out from the ocean at night to lay their eggs, and with us, you will witness this magical moment in the most respectful way to the turtles. First we will welcome you on our Glamping Open Tent for an introductory briefing and some drinks and snacks. After the briefing, the turtle walk will start and we will walk along the beach under the starry african sky wih red lights, to do not disturb the turtles, and we will wait patiently for the ideal moment to approach, when the turtles are already starting to lay their eggs, to witness this wonder of nature in the most respectful and magical way.

5.00Janet, the guide was very friendly and informative. My wife and I enjoyed this trip. The bus was behind schedule picking us up from our hotel. The water and biscuits in the tent was just a bit of fluff to pack out the time I feel but regardless, would recommend.

5.00I had the most amazing experience turtle watching in Sal with Janet as our guide. She was absolutely fantastic – knowledgeable, passionate, and made the whole evening feel really special. Janet explained everything clearly about the turtles’ nesting process and how we could observe them respectfully without disturbing them. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and you could tell she truly cares about the turtles and their protection. We felt safe, well looked after, and came away with not only unforgettable memories but also a deeper understanding of these incredible creatures. If you’re visiting Sal, I can’t recommend this tour with Janet enough – it was a highlight of our trip!

5.00We booked the turtle watching trip through our tour company TUI. Pickup was punctual and efficient. The ride to the beach was among an unpaved route and I’m glad I wasn’t driving! We were offered biscuits and water in a glamping tent. This was under red light for us to get our night vision ready. Our guide Isla (?Aila) explained about the loggerhead turtles we were going to see but it was great to see such a strong emphasis on conservation of this incredible creature Isla kept us out of the turtles’ way at all times and we saw heading out of the water up the beach. Then, we watched one lay its eggs before it buried all evidence of the site fatten headed back to sea Magical. And seeing thus makes you want to hold all politicians destroying the planet to proper account

5.00Magical experience. Dark night, with a journey through the middle of nothing and without lights, the 4 pics from a certain point, until we reach the place where we were made an explanation of the visit. That tent turns. We were lucky to see the desova almost all over. The turtle's return to the sea was special. Thank you for the experience you have provided us. 🙂

2.00well i wasn’t impressed, we had warm drink on arrival, we need to ask for the red light what was included in the tour, visible was very bad , and i specifically ask the guide if i need anything warm , she said No , i was freezing.. not the best
