I'm Katia and me and my uncle Fulvio run the Tuscan cooking class in our family farmhouse. We are 4 km far from the fantastic town of San Gimignano and we teach you how to prepare a real Tuscany meal but most important we teach you how the food should taste. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to spent in a real Tuscany family.
We'll make a lot of typical Tuscany antipasti, then we prepare primi piatti, and we make one type of pasta hand made, two different sauces for pasta, and then a second course with meat.

What To Expect
Cooking is our passion, we grew up watching our mothers and grandmothers prepare every day recipes of traditional tuscan cooking. We are excited to share our recipes and the secrets of real tuscan food. We will teach you how to prepare an authentic 5-6 courses tuscany lunch or dinner. Each of the 5-6 courses is paired with our local Tuscan wines. Most importantly, we teach you how the food should taste, and your senses will be delighted. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to enjoy a real tuscan family. The menu is based on seasonal and local products from our area. We also organise vegetarian and gluten free cooking classes, and we accomodate food allergies, just let us know!

5.00This was certainly the highlight of my week in Tuscany. Unbelievably fun and informative. Our hostess was the most personable and interesting cooking teacher. The instructions and the recipes resulted in a most delicious meal we enjoyed at the end. I would highly recommend this to others traveling with a small group.

5.00We had a wonderful experience at the Tuscan cooking class. We were shown how to make pici pasta (our all time favorite pasta). We made bruschetta and two sauces. All ingredients and recipes were typical Tuscan. We learned many insights to the ins and outs of how to put a proper meal together. We sampled three local wines which were paired to various courses. We couldn’t believe how well everything tasted. It was definitely a hands on experience, and we couldn’t believe how well it turned out.

5.00Booked this for my family, only 7 of us!! It was only us and that made it even more special and fun. Katia our host was amazing. We felt so welcomed. The food was simple yet so delicious. I love that about Italian food. Pasta, bruschetta and two phenomenal sauces. The farmhouse was beautiful and set in the rolling hills of Tuscany. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Maybe alittle more wine!! All adults and all love the wine. Fabulous day. And all my family were super happy with the experience.
