I'm Katia and me and my uncle Fulvio run the Tuscan cooking class in our family farmhouse. We are 4 km far from the fantastic town of San Gimignano and we teach you how to prepare a real Tuscany meal but most important we teach you how the food should taste. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to spent in a real Tuscany family.
We'll make a lot of typical Tuscany antipasti, then we prepare primi piatti, and we make one type of pasta hand made, two different sauces for pasta, and then a second course with meat.

Food you prepare is pairing with local wine
Cooking is our passion, we grew up watching our mothers and grandmothers prepare every day recipes of traditional tuscan cooking. We are excited to share our recipes and the secrets of real tuscan food. We will teach you how to prepare an authentic 5-6 courses tuscany lunch or dinner. Each of the 5-6 courses is paired with our local Tuscan wines. Most importantly, we teach you how the food should taste, and your senses will be delighted. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to enjoy a real tuscan family. The menu is based on seasonal and local products from our area. We also organise vegetarian and gluten free cooking classes, and we accomodate food allergies, just let us know!

I would recommend this class to anyone, from beginners to people with some cooking experience...or anyone who just wants to have a fun and enjoyable experience. Chef Fulvio was amazing as he provided such insights to perform practical experiences. They have an incredible amount of knowledge for cooking styles and processes, you will come away with new ways to take your cooking to a new level at home.

Katye was our instructor snd she made the experience TERRIFIC! As I was in left arm cast and sling (beware of all those steps in Italy) she immediately said “I will be your left hand!” The setting was wonderful- a family farmhouse with a view! The invaluable Tuscan cooking tips we were given as we prepared each course were eye opening, such as the difference between an American pinch of seasoning, and an Italian pinch of seasoning! Who knew? The informal, hands on experience was priceless, and right at the top of my memories of our Italian adventure.

it was a little hard to find the house but the experience was fantastic. Luigi was extremely knowledgeable about Italian culture, cooking and why some items go together and others actually counteract each other, taste wise. His personality was awesome as he was very funny and entertaining through the class. the food was fantastic to eat and i learned so much from him about how to cook Italian and things i have been doing wrong all my life. Thanks, Luigi, for a great time.

Katia welcomed us into her historic farmhouse where she talked about the farm and local culture. She was warm and welcoming and made an enjoyable experience. We prepared traditional Italian recipes and enjoyed every bit of it. Throughly enjoyed the evening. Would recommend it. (Katia, looking forward to receiving the recipes..) Katia

We loved working with a small group and Katya was the perfect instructor! I have struggled with pasta making in the past but she showed us a way that was so simple it was incredible. She also showed us easy but incredibly tasty sauces. Very recommended for a complete Tuscan experience.

Wonderful experience! Eight of us made pasta from scratch, also bruschetta, several sauces, and several other dishes. We learned so much our heads were spinning! Oh, maybe that was from the lovely wines we drank with our meal!! A fantastic day!!

If you're looking for a cooking class I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a fun, educational, yet relaxing experience. Out of the 2 weeks we spent in Italy and all the different activities and sites we visited I can honestly say this was among the top 2 activities we we did. The food was great, the chief was funny, knowledgeable, and super gracious. After this class I was excited to get back home and put what I learned to use.
