What To Expect
After starting the transfer at the hotel, we will park at Leblon lookout where you have a beautiful view and walk for about 10 minutes to the community entrance. There we will have a unique experience of climbing the mototaxi favela or small vans (according to your preference) and feel like a local. This unique opportunity is considered as the best part of the adventure by many of our customers! Then we will start our trail at a pace that will respect the time of each member and have contact with the wildlife of the region. We'll have some stops on the trail to drink water, take photos of specific spots, all with a nice conversation about the real life of the Vidigal community residents. After 50 minutes of walking we will reach the top of our trail where we will pause for everyone to take their wonderful photos of one of the most famous postcards of Rio de Janeiro. After this time of relaxation we will go down the trail and you can stop to eat in the community before returning to the hotel (optional).

5.00My 3 friends and I from Russia made a tour with Carlos in March, 2019. I only have a positive feadback about it. Carlos arrived to our hotel on time and picked us up. He drove and then parked his car not far from the favela Vidigal and after that we walked for about 15 minutes to the favela on foot. If we needed some time to take pictures on our way Carlos was always up. When we reached the favela, the locals on bikes have already waited for us to take us to the point up on the hill through the favela. Every girl has her own "driver". It's extreme but quite safe. The road up took about 7 minutes and to be honest I did enjoy it. The bikers left us and we went up to the main view point of Dois Irmãos on foot. The trip took about 01.30 hour and it was quite tough but it's worth it. Carlos assisted us everywhere and took a good care of us. When we reached the main point we could enjoy the view and took pictures as long as we wanted. The trip back was easier and Carlos did all his job for 100%. I have to say that during all the trip we felt safe and totally enjoyed it. I definitely recommend the tour with Carlos to everyone!
