Yasodharapura, dating from three centuries earlier, was centred slightly further northwest, and Angkor Thom overlapped parts of it. We - two people - booked John for the two-day trip. He picked us up on time at our hotel in Phnom Penh by appointment. Means of transport is a comfortable, clean Hyundai van, John is a prudent driver, the drive to Siem Reap was more entertaining than thought, we took breaks to eat and drink, with John kindly keeping cold water ready for us for free. Further John showed us an insect market on the way, who likes can taste gladly. Just in time at the agreed time John picked us up at the hotel. Through the Angkor facilities we were guided by the competent English speaking guide Phanna included in the tour price. His explanations made everything much more understandable to us. He was also able to answer all our questions in detail. It was an advantage during the approximately 8 hours sightseeing tour that one could relax between the individual temples again and again in John’s air-conditioned vehicle. Since the tour was so pleasant, we decided to book John for another trip to Phnom Kulen National Park. John is a safe, friendly driver who we can gladly recommend.
