Depart early from Addis to Lake Wenchi. Here you can do some horseback riding or hiking around this stunning Crater Lake and/or a boat trip on the lake to visit the island monastery of Cherkos and the hot springs.

Menagesha Suba Forest Park

After breakfast, drive to the Menagesha National Forest for some hiking. Here you will enjoy the wildlife, such as the colobus monkeys and endemic Menelik’s bushbuck, as well as birds, including the endemic Ethiopian oriole and Abyssinian woodpecker. After the visit, return to Addis Ababa in the afternoon

This trip really was wonderful. The view , the lake, the forest, the wild animals, everything was so perfect. Ethio Travel and Tours did an amazing job organizing these wonderful destinations together.

This was a phenomenal trip. It was expertly planned and we owe it to this travel for crafting such a great overall experience. We can’t thank them enough for organizing this trip.We really loved the the travel destinations, hotel choices and having so many things set up for us. Having drivers to take us everywhere we were going and picking us up was great.
