5.00This is a fast paced tour that covers the highlights of the Accademia and Uffizi galleries. Our guide Silvia was outstanding in the way she brought meaning to the art we saw and tied together the history of the times and of the Renaissance movement. We enjoyed her sense of humor and ability to shepherd us efficiently through some very crowded galleries. I would recommend this tour and Silvia specifically to anyone who wants to see these museums without getting overwhelmed with too much art in one helping.

5.00Our tour guide, Anna, was great! She was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time for pictures of David and other prominent art pieces. Going in the tour line was also faster than general admission. We only waited a few minutes at both museums. I definitely recommend this tour. Side note: our tour was scheduled for 8:30, but when we arrived they asked us to wait until 9 to join another group. We didn’t mind, but wish they would told us before so we could strolled along more on the way.

5.00A very informative and engaging tour of the highlights of central Florence. We spent time in the Academia and the Uffizi as well as a walking tour. The guide, Sylvia was excellent and accommodating to some of the participants who could not manage stairs.
Breathtaking Tour of the Accademia and Uffizi

5.00We traveled as a party of three to Florence for this experience. There were no issues checking and starting the tour with Sylvia. Once we got going there was a leisurely stroll to the accademia gallery. It was crowded at this location (possibly due to the Olympics?) but our guide did a great job finding ways around the crowd and giving us extremely interesting information, especially in regards to the David statue. It’s a must see in person to realize just how meticulous the work was, and its size. Uffizi was also quite crowded and there was around a 20 minute wait to get in. Once there the number of pieces of art is breathtaking. I was happy to have slyvia there to guide us and give insights into the works. My feet were a bit sore from walking and standing for the tour, but it was well worth it!
