DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR! We did this excursion on 3/24/26 (as a group of 9) and it was absolutely terrible from the moment it started. Right off the bat our tour guide informed us that the van had been overbooked, so he had the 5 children in our party (4 of which were teenagers) pile into the back row that only had 4 seats- our 10 year old literally was balancing between the laps of two others and did not have a seat belt. We picked up another family at another location and started heading towards the rainforest. Our driver/tour guide did not say a single word to us the entire drive there. We stopped at a roadside local establishment that sold hot food, smoothies, and souvenirs. It seemed as though most tours stopped there, but we stayed for over a half an hour- which was way too much time. By the time we left there we had already been on the tour for about two hours and hadn’t done anything or had any type of guided tour. When we approached the entrance to El Yunque, when our driver attempted to back into a spot he went too far back and ended up driving up and over the wooden plank/curb. The van tipped backwards as the rear tires dropped off the cliff and the van was stopped by the frame resting on the edge of the pavement. Again, because the van was overbooked, our kids were in the back row (one of them without an actual seat and seatbelt) freaking out that they were about to go backwards over a cliff and we were two rows up (split up by the other family) and not able to comfort them. They hurried us out of the van without any of our stuff. Within a few minutes they were ready to get the excursion going, but we were still trying to calm our kids down from the trauma of almost going backwards off a cliff. Since we were rushed off the van, none of us had put on water shoes or gotten ready for the excursion. It took us some extra time to get settled, but in the meantime the other van that was part of our tour group and the tour guides headed down into the rainforest and left us to figure it out ourselves. We eventually met up at the waterfalls. The tour guide (maybe owner of the company?) for the other van made the excursion feel like a big frat party- filming us to be in social media videos (we were definitely not in the mood considering how everything had been a disaster so far) and dropping the F-word constantly. He had no understanding that our van was full of three families with children– we did not appreciate the language. We also felt incredibly rushed between the waterfalls- at one point he literally tossed our 10 year old in water that was above her head to rush her into a picture by the waterfall. Luckily one of the adults in our party grabbed her and held onto her. It was just incredibly difficult to enjoy this part of the tour and honestly did not trust that these guides would keep us safe. We also would note that the trek down to the waterfalls was much more intense than what was implied in the excursion description– there was not a groomed pathway and a lot of it was climbing over rocks. One member of our group had to stay at the top because she physically could not make it down. After El Yunque we went to the beach. This was fine- they dropped us off and told us what time to be back. We enjoyed the relaxation of the beach- it was much calmer and enjoyable than the first part of the tour. When we got back to the van to leave, we found that the van had a parking ticket. Not our problem, but again, just unprofessional and not showing awareness of surroundings. By the time we left the beach, we were convinced that the guided tour of Old San Juan was not going to happen. That was the whole reason we booked this specific excursion- every other excursion on Trip Advisor only included the beach and El Yunque, but we specifically wanted to tour Old San Juan. We had another quiet drive back to our drop off point- aside from the 10-15 minutes where our guide took a phone call (on speaker phone) and they were yelling back and forth. We couldn’t understand what was being said, but it made us very uncomfortable. As we got closer to our drop off point, the driver took another turn and before we knew it we were driving through Old San Juan. This was advertised as a GUIDED TOUR, but once again, not a single word was said by our driver/tour guide. We had no idea what we were driving by or what anything was. He stopped by one of the forts and opened our door, but didn’t say anything. We eventually wandered a bit and got some pictures, but we didn’t know how long we had so we didn’t even get close to it. And, again, he didn’t give us any information about the fort or anything else. The guide started walking up some stairs (without saying anything) so we followed and then he told us we had a bathroom stop. A few people followed him, but a few of us stayed back. While he was gone, a tour bus came down the same street and was trying to drop off a tour group, but couldn’t get through because our van driver had just barely pulled off to the side of the road and wasn’t even in a parking spot. The bus driver kept honking, not knowing our driver wasn’t in the van. Eventually our driver came out and moved the van– yet another example of not showing awareness of surroundings. At this point we told our tour guide we were just ready to go back to our drop off spot- the tour was pointless and we were done. Out of nowhere the other van driver (again, maybe the company owner??) came and said he would take the other group back to their drop off spot so our driver could take us. The other driver apologized for the “setbacks” of the day and had the nerve to say “there were weather related things that were out of our control.” Yes, it was raining and we know they can’t control that– but almost backing off a cliff was certainly within the control of the driver. To top the day off, on the way back, our driver literally almost hit a pedestrian in the middle of a cross walk- my husband had been sitting in the front seat and had to yell at him to stop (or he likely would not have). He dropped us off and then had the audacity to linger and wait for a tip. We usually tip very well for all day excursions, but he hadn’t said a single word to us all day and essentially got us into an accident that really put a damper on our experience. Again, I would strongly recommend NOT booking with this company– we 100% regret not just finding a tour guide waiting at the port….I can pretty much guarantee it would have been a much better experience.

They knew about the big festival but failed to let us know to have an option to cancel. We never got to see Old San Juan. So we paid for 3 tours and only got 2. We spent majority of our time in the car. Poor management for this tour.

Van was marginally air conditioned and there was not enough water for everyone. Confusion because tour was cancelled day before then received call day of tour saying they were on way. Tour itself was good; tour guide Justin was good. Tour was extended due to lateness of start time but not everyone was informed of this. Still, I got to see rainforest and beach for a good price and it was a beautiful day so I am glad I went
