Sunny is a fantastic tour guide who went above and beyond to make our tour very special taking us to spots not really talked about online. We had a fantastic time and have a great appreciation for how beautiful this part of Japan is.

  • Rainy Day in Izu

Sunny being a local and familiar with the area was a huge plus. The forecast for the day was supposed to be minor rain for a few hours but unfortunately for us, it ended being the entire day. Fortunately for us, Sun had known all the best spots to pivot to if we couldn’t go to the expected outdoor areas we’d hoped, he also had umbrellas to utilize as well and getting us from our hotel was a nice plus. We enjoyed learning how of the peninsula and being able to go where not as much tourists were able to. We didn’t stick to the normal itinerary because our little ones wouldn’t be able to go to certain areas, but it worked out because we were still able to have a full day of other family friendly activities instead. All in all we made the most of our trip, we were able to see and experience Izu while keeping dry. Definitely something we hope to experience again and recommend others!

This Izu tour was hands down the most amazing tour from start to finish. Our local guide was knowledgeable, funny and lots of fun. We saw so many amazing places that we never would have seen. I highly recommend this tour!

  • Great way to see Izu without driving yourself!

The owner, Sun, was also our guide for the day, and he was excellent. First, he was very kind to change the date of our tour at the last minute, because the day we were scheduled was going to be a washout with heavy rain all day. He drove us all over Eastern coast of the Izu peninsula, even making some unscheduled stops at our request. He walked with us on the trails and was very helpful every step of the way. Hard-working guy, good English, and a super guide all around. Highly recommend.
