Manjanggul is a partially multi-level lava tube cave with a total length of 7.4 kilometers. The main passage is one of the largest in the world, with a width of 18 meters and a height of 23 meters. There are many lava tubes around the world, but few are as old as Manjang Cave, which is hundreds of thousands of years old and has a well-preserved internal form and topography, making it of great scientific and conservation value. the 7.6-metre-high stalagmite column at the end of the 1km opening is considered to be the largest in the world.

5.00Kim Chan is the perfect tour guide. He spoke excellent English and has a great sense of humour. He gave us a lot of information about all the various interesting sights that he took us to as welll as imparting information about life in Korea and indeed his own life. He went out of his way to ensure all our wishes were catered for. We would highly recommend.
