Great, I was alone with the guide and he offered to go to another area to increase the chances of new species. This was a great idea. We saw a lot of new and fairly special species. The flexibility and knowledge of the guide were great!

The 3 p.m. is especially perfect for beginner bird-watcher who is not sure they have the patience to wait at 0530 for the "right" bird to show up. I don't know birds enough too lost what we saw but I learned stuff and had fun. The couple are knowledgeable and nice to hear their experiences in the area for decades. Even better, it can be scheduled just before the 7 p.m. night jungle adventure in the same area

I had an amazing tour experience! I got to feed the hummingbirds which was indescribable and we saw so many different birds including toucans! Wiliam was an excellent tour guide who pointed out various birds and could describe all the different sounds, which was unbelievable. We also took a walk through the cloud forest where we saw some butterflies and other animals. I had such a great time and it was a beautiful experience! I can highly recommend this tour and the amazing guide! Thank you so much!:)

Amazing experience!! Highly recommend! William is very knowledgeable of the birds and has a remarkable skill for spotting them. He also has an app to show you what bird you are seeing and information about it. He can recognize the sound they make and guide you towards whatever bird you’re looking to find. I started out the morning feeding hummingbirds and went on a short walk to see other birds. We saw lots of little birds, a hawk, parrots, and two toucans!! He would play bird sounds to try and attract them. He also knows where the nests are as well as where different birds like to eat. We heard a quetzal but we’re not able to locate it. I appreciated the time he spent searching for the birds I was most interested in. He also has a great telescope for viewing and taking photos up close. He took incredible pictures and videos as well and sent them to me through WhatsApp. The property is beautifully landscaped and around 7 minutes from the center park in Mindo. If you ask, he can arrange for a taxi to pick you up and drop you off. It’s $2.50 each way. I’m very satisfied with the experience and will be booking a night walk as well!

We started at 06.00 at the MINDO sign where we spotted our first birds before walking through Mindo and into the park. It was a beautiful morning, we saw two types of toucans and more hummingbirds than I could count. They were absolutely beautiful. The decked area was lovely, with coffee and juice, and clean toilets just behind. William was great to talk to and his knowledge wonderful. We had a great trip and would thoroughly recommend William.
