The Chao Phraya River
On this slow boat tour we cruise downstream on the Chao Phraya River from Ayutthaya to Bangkok. We pass beautiful temples like Wat Ampuwararam, Wat Bot and dozens of others, moving slowly enough to get your pictures from the river. By the time we reach the outer areas of Bangkok, the sunset gives just the right light for your pictures and slowly turns into the glimmering city lights of Bangkok. We take you into the heart of the city with all the glittering lights, along the illuminated Wat Arun and the majestic Grand Palace by night.

I’ve been wishing for a boat like this for 15 years!!! This trip back from Ayutthaya was amazing ! Exactly what we’ve been looking for! We went to ayutthaya on the early train, had a tuk tuk to see temples all day, then had him drop us off at the boat pier at 3pm- We were met with ice waters and smiles, snacks, and fruit…and the most relaxing return to Bangkok! We slowly cruised along the river, watching the fishermen and barges as we went past, enjoyed the sunset, and arrived back to Bangkok to see the city in a whole different way…lit up along the river with the temples and stupas illuminated by…wow! Dinner was great, the music was great, and the service was phenomenal- we asked to be dropped at a different pier so we could easily catch the BTS, and they happily took us there! We absolutely can’t wait to do this again!
