Our local guides look forward to accompaning you , on a Full Day West Coast Tahiti tour .You'll join a small group of 4-8 l in a new air- conditioned Mercedes. Discover waterfalls, black sandy beaches, botanical gardens, surfers, surf spots, mountain springs and caves. Enjoy spontaneous, authentic opportunities to meet the locals discovering how they live and spend their daily lives. Taking you to off the beaten track parts of the island, exposing you to 'the real deal' , part of the unique experience we will offer you
Lunch is at a local restaurant on the beach (not included in the price of the tour) Your opportunity to eat local food, in an idyllic popular local restaurant
A boat trip to the wave at Teahupoo. The 30 minutes boat ride paid on the day to the boat captain to the OLYMPIC SURF site if conditions allow is adn additional 30usd p/seat paid to the captain. NB 20 JULY-5 AUGUST 2024 we are unable to include the boat ride to the OLYMPIC SURF SPOT, secured for security reasons

The Water Gardens of Vaipahi
As you wander the garden paths, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a massive explosion of color. Your guide will point out vibrant red ginger, exotic hibiscus, and rare tropical flowers that make this botanical sanctuary feel like a living masterpiece. You'll walk alongside peaceful streams and lily ponds while hearing the cool legends of the ancient Maohi people who once considered this entire area a sacred spiritual site. The real showstopper is the Vaipahi waterfall. You can stand right at the base of the falls as fresh mountain water crashes down a mossy cliff into a crystal-clear pool. The refreshing mist feels amazing in the tropical heat and makes for an incredible Tahiti photo op. It’s a short, easy, and totally refreshing way to experience the authentic soul of the island’s nature.

5.00I was amazed at how much ground we covered. I know we did more than if I had selected a bus tour because we could move so much faster. This was a fantastic overview of the island. I especially enjoyed seeing where the Olympics surfing took place. Gana was a terrific guide who told us everything you would ever want to know about Tahiti. The place we stopped for lunch was amazing. I loved everything about this excursion!

5.00This is a full day tour on the western side of Tahiti. There are no strenuous hikes but be prepared with the proper footwear to walk on sand, grass and rocks. More importantly be prepared to learn alot about Tahiti, its history, people, flora and fauna. Our guide Dominick was a wealth of knowledge and intertwined his own life experience growing up on the Island with the various historical, cultural and scenic stops we made during our tour. Highly recommend experience!

5.00My wife and I took a fabulous full day west coast tour of tahiti with Tracey and we were sure glad we did. Tracey gives you kind of indepth and insider tour that you cant get from the cookie cutter type tours. Only someone who has lived for decades in this place and among these people which she clearly loves can give you a tour like this... our tour included a wonderful boat ride out to watch the waves and surfers at Teahupoo, site of the 2024 Olympics.. a lovely lunch with the locals at a delicious beach side restaurant and picturesque water gardens and breathtaking scenery and sights and tons of local info...worth every penny.. dont waste your precious limited time in Tahiti... Tracey is the Gold Standard.

5.00If I could give this to tour 10 stars, I would. An informative tour about the real Tahiti. Tracie was our guide. She was informative. She was funny. She picked us up at the cruise ship port. The van was clean and very comfortable. She provided us with ample water She’s lived here for many years and she told us a lot about the traditional family structure and how real people live in Tahiti and have lived in Tahiti for generations. We got to see what Tahiti looks like outside of Papeete. She was very accommodating to the things we wanted to see. It is an all day excursion/tour, but it went by so quickly. We stopped and had a really great lunch at a cute little place. I would recommend this tour. It was myself and my 80-year-old parents and they loved it. The botanical garden that we visited was absolutely stunning. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Tahiti. If you have two days like I did or you’re here for a longer amount of time this tour is a must.

Dom was the perfect guide - knowledgeable and informative, as a lifelong local gave us insights we would not otherwise have had the opportunity for. He was also friendly and an expert at accommodating everyone’s needs and desires. A very full day of memorable experiences - highly recommend.
