What To Expect

After owning and cookingin my restaurant for 20 years, I decided to share my experience in a more intimate way: I´ll be welcoming you in my back yard. Where we will enojoy an old school, Gaucho style bbq cooked in the fire pit. I´ll welcome you with a traditional "picada", follow by 6 courses of Argentine´s finest and most tastefull steaks, paired with exquisit Argentine wines. For dessert, let me surprise you. I promise you will love it. (Menu steps may vary according to party members)

Charcuterie - Picada Argentina

The "picada" is usually served while preparing the fire and steaks: Argentine salame, chorizo colorado, pategras and blue cheese warm bread.

Choripan & Morcilla

Chori: Argentine Pork sausage with Criolla and Chimichurri sauces, fresh. Serve between breads. Morci: blood sausage served crispy with blue cheese.

Sweetbreads

Bovine Sweetbreads slowly smoked and bath with garlic, mostard and honey. Crisp and tender. Truly one of our favorites. Served with green salad.

Pork matambre gently smoked with baked boñatos with garlic butter

Picaña

Picaña is a very gentle cut, soft meat and a thin layer of fat. Cooked in the fire pit for 120 minutes to achieve the best smoked and rich taste.

Our two most premium steaks. Grilled to perfection.

Tira de asado - Shor Rib

Our most traditional asado cut is the rib. We cook it in the pit for 4 hours until the meat falls of the bone. Truly amazing.

Typical argentine dessert, it´s a thin creppe with dulce de leche. Coffe or tea.

Asado is a special social event for Argentinians. Think of a BBQ with your family and friends. Very casual, interesting, delicious food and plenty of wine. Gaston and friends were great hosts. About 25 minutes outside the downtown area. Uber is your best option and inexpensive.

We had an incredible asado experience with Gaston that felt refreshingly authentic and relaxed. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and something that felt far more intimate than a restaurant experience, so much so that we stayed far longer than expected, chatting into the early hours. The meats were prepared amazingly, and we tried some cuts of meat we usually wouldn't get an opportunity to. The wine pairings were fantastic, especially as I am not usually a wine drinker! It was an intimate setting that made the whole experience feel more genuine and connected to the true spirit of Argentine asado, and there was even live music from Gastons friend, Fede. A perfect blend of great food, company, and wines that was the highlight of our time in BA.

This was truly a highlight of my trip to Argentina! The host was excellent and the food was spectacular. I really enjoyed my visit and had the best time talking and eating with the wonderful hosts. Thank you again for a memorable experience!

Spectacular roast of a good selection of cuts prepared by the friendly "Chef" Gaston in a typical Argentine family atmosphere. The wines offered are very good and the quality-price ratio is optimal. Without a doubt to return and recommend!
The best of Tigre!!! A delicious Argentine barbecue and good conversation. Totally recommended!!!

We went to eat a barbecue that Gaston, alias Tato, organized for us, and it was impeccable. Both the food and the drink were impeccable, but the touch of grace was given by the good manners, the good vibes and the harmony that was present in the food! It could not have been better! I hope it repeats

Gastón, a genius, made us a 6-course menu with premium cuts. Very good atmosphere and vibe. I went with my partner but I will return in 15 days with a group of friends as well. Advice, ask him to tell you about the cooking while he is doing it, he knows a lot.
