It offers a different way of visiting the amazing and popular reed home islands from Puno city.
This late afternoon on your kayak you’ll cover the beautiful foreshore of Southern Uros islands in Lake Titicaca National Reserve. It’s perfect for those who are fairly new to kayaking, as well as more experienced kayakers who enjoy and appreciate the contrast while the sun is slowly setting over Puno hill and the reed islands.
Current launch location is near Isla Esteves 15 min away from Puno city but you won’t need to make sure how you’re going to get to the local dock for the scheduled lunching time because private transfer is included.
You don’t need to be an experienced kayaker as our kayaks are really stable and you will be instructed and guided in a small group of paddlers (or only you).

Uros Floating Islands
Kayaking the Lake Titicaca at sunset is a magical and amazing experience. Here you’ll be gliding across the clear waters of Uros area as we get closer to the reed islands by starting from the South side we’ll see how they change from blue to orange and purple. As you look up into the sky, you will see the sun slowly sinking behind the majestic peaks of Puno city. This is one unforgettable experience you will not want to miss.

5.00Andean Ways is a great company. Edison was a brilliant guide for both a sunset kayak tour of the Uros islands and a private tour of Taquile Island the next day. He was friendly, flexible, knowledgeable, and a great boat navigator. We appreciated Freddy’s attention to the WhatsApp account in getting us scheduled with flexibility and relatively short notice while offering affordable prices. Highly recommend Andean Ways for anyone looking for chill kayak and boat tours on Lake Titicaca!

5.00When I booked, the professionalism of these people could already be perceived through the emails. I traveled from La Paz to Cusco with a van. Punctual for the meeting at the airport. The change of driver at the border with Peru without any hitch. The van was equipped with wi-fi, very convenient on this long journey. Excursion to Lake Titicaca, visit to the Uros village. The guide was professional and kind. The driver was very helpful, punctual and friendly. I absolutely recommend it

We spent time on one of the islands and even tried some of the local stone cooked fish ;) Great way to see Uros and the floating islands - highly recommend:) Why go on a noisy boat if you can kayak!
