We had such a great experience touring the ruins of Uxmal. Our guide Jorge was so knowledgeable and totally entertaining as he created a memorable journey through Mayan history. Highly recommend. Thx Jorge.

Rodrigo was our guide and he did a great job making the four of us feel comfortable right away. He carefully explained the day’s schedule, and when we found that the cenote we were supposed to visit was closed for the day he was able to take us to another one which was available - and we had a wonderful visit there. We all enjoyed the visit to the ruins and the typical lunch in a small village along the way. At the end of the tour, we mentioned to Rodrigo that we needed to buy tickets at the local bus station, and he immediately offered to take us there. Once at the station, he waited while we bought our tickets and then brought us back to our hotel. We were very grateful that he was willing to give up his time to assist us in this way. Thank you, Rodrigo for a fun day and the assistance you provided us!

Was an amazing experience and well worth a visit Uxmal Myan ruins and Cenote and lunch. Rodrigo was a fantastic guide helping the older of my friends with navigating the rocky terrain. I being the youngest(75 yrs) deceided to tackle the Cenote , with a life jacket !!! Soo glad I did as was incredible and had help from Rodrigo who explained a lot about the Cenote. The lunch was wonderful in sweet Mexican restaurant on way back to Mérida . Just a fantastic day, well organized and picked us up at our Airbnb and dropped us off!!, I ended up in the second van with an Australian couple and two daughters and lovely driver ( Adriana) who was delightfull spoke great English and we chatted all the way. Great day , highly recommended. Came from Canada to Mérida for two weeks.

Rodrigo was very accommodating with our pickup and drop off. Uxmal itself is very nicely restored and organized for visits. It is a beautiful setting and an historic site well worth seeing. The guide at Uxmal was good too, and managed to take the young ones on a good climb, while we oldsters enjoyed our time at a lower level. Both guides were very solicitous in keeping us safe, and handing us over the rocky parts. We were warmly welcomed for lunch, and enjoyed the Yucatecan specialties. The younger ones in our group enjoyed the cenote, which was really a magical place, while we older ones watched their spectacular dives.

Fantastic tour from start to finish. Activities were really good. Uxmal is beautiful and fascinating and the tour guide that showed us around was very good Long enough but not too long in Uxmal. Cenote was beautiful and a really nice way to wrap up the trip. Again long enough but not too long at the cenote. The food was brilliant. A great window into the local food. Not fancy but really flavourful. Our tour guide that drove us around was really lovely. Accommodating for any individual needs, but also mindful that we were in a group with others to keep the trip flowing. Ended up chating away for most of the car trip and learnt so much during the trip to each of the sights which we weren't expecting. Really just a fantastic trip/tour and would highly recommend.

Rodrigo picked us up promptly outside of our hotel in Centro. We were lucky to be the only ones on the tour so he was very accommodating. He safely drove us to Uxmal, where we enjoyed exploring the ruins for 2hrs. We then drove to a nearby pueblo to enjoy some regional food, then went out to Cenote Kankirixche. Our guide was knowledgable and attentive, but most importantly safe! We got back to Merida and still enjoyed our evening. Definitely consider this tour if you don’t want to go on a day-long excursion.

We really enjoyed this tour with Rodrigo, the archaeological area of Uxmal I think deserves to be visited obligatorily in your stay in Yucatan, magical and uncrowded cenotes, breakfast 10/10.

This excursion was by far one of the best in Merida that I have experienced. Rodrigo was prompt, a great communicator, and very kind. He is very knowledgeable and all his historically insight really made the tour that more engaging. My boyfriend only speaks English, and I speak both English and Spanish and it was great that Rodrigo was able to speak both languages. The vehicle was comfortable and I really appreciated having AC throughout the traveling journey. Uxmal is about an hour drive from Merida and goes by very quickly talking to Rodrigo since he shares historical facts and stories throughout the drive. Once at Uxmal, you will need to pay the entrance fee for each person in your party which Rodrigo makes very clear in his listing. I would recommend bringing pesos to pay. Also we were made aware that the area was very safe and so I was able to leave behind a backpack full of items I packed for the cenote which I appreciated. There are clean restrooms at Uxmal in case someone in your party needs to use it. The Uxmal archaeological site is very large and there are many great opportunities for photos throughout the site, as well as helpful explanations to learn more about the ruins. I would highly recommend during the month of October to bring a hat and lots of bug spray to combat mosquitoes. Uxmal does require a lot of walking so bring some good walking shoes. After the ruins a short ride followed where Rodrigo took us to a delicious lunch at a small local place. The food was a traditional meal to the area and was full of flavor. Lastly, there’s a short 20 minute drive to reach the cenote. Once at the cenote there is a shower/changing area, as well as restrooms. We were luckily to go during the week and have the cenote to ourselves which was a lucky treat. The water was incredible and unreal. We warmed up quickly after swimming for 2-3 minutes and were able to enjoy the crystal clear water. After the cenote we headed back to our initial pick up location to end the day. The tour is about 6-7 hours in length and I highly recommend it. If you’re looking for a great tour and an amazing tour guide, look no further, choose this tour with Rodrigo. You won’t regret it!

I took a private cenote tour from Mérida with Rodrigo, and it was such a great experience! From the moment he picked me up, the vibe was great — talking to Rodrigo feels like chatting with a friend! As a solo female traveler, that made me feel instantly comfortable. He knows a lot about the cenotes and their history, and he’s also a fantastic photographer. Even though the scheduled cenotes were muddy after the rain, Rodrigo didn’t give up. According to him the experience would not be complete until I swam in one and he was so right! When we encountered one with clear water, the swim was amazing. I highly recommend a tour with Rodrigo, un guía muy chido with great energy and experience!
