7:30 a.m. - The journey continues to the hot springs, where you’ll have the chance to relax and swim in naturally heated thermal waters. The Polques Hot Springs offer a unique experience, as they can only be accessed through the Uyuni Salt Flats tour.
Laguna Blanca
9:15 am. After enjoying the hot springs, continue your journey to the Salvador Dalí Desert, where you’ll visit both the Green and White Lagoons. Take in the breathtaking scenery, with the Licancabur Volcano rising in the background, and allow some time to explore and appreciate this unique landscape.

Great experience and decent value for money. Note - Howlanders don't actually operate the tour but they place you witha tour operator. This is not a bad thing - they choose their tour operators carefully and ensure high levels of service - in my opinion it is worth paying slightly more to go through Howlanders for this peace of mind rather than taking a gamble booking with a operator directly. The tour itself was great - our guide, Rene, was friendly and funny. As with most guides, he only spoke Spanish - worked fine for non-Spanish speakers as others in the group translated as required. The 4x4 we were in was much better than I expected - comfortable and fairly spacious with bluetooth for playing music. The accomodation and food does the job - the first night is a very basic place, but given how rural it is, this is to be expected. The food does the job at keeping you fuelled, but I advise bringing your own snacks to supplement. The locations you visit are consistently amazing and breathtaking. Overall - an excellent experience, well run tour, amazing locations and good value.

As incredible as it was to visit the different sites of Salar de Uyuni the 3 days was so poorly organised. If I could do the trip again, I would absolutely not book with Howlanders. Our guide was absolutely terrible, he essentially just drove us from place to place with zero information on anything, I mean ZERO! We never knew what the plan was and when we asked he responded with a joke and never gave us a straight answer. This was super frustrating when we were exhausted after the day, freezing and hungry. We felt really rushed at every stop and had on average 15 - 30 minutes to enjoy each place. Granted we got some fantastic pictures and footage at the Salt Flats but that’s the only element that was worth the money tbh. The guide clearly didn’t have a clue what he was doing and completely messed up the last day where we rushed through all of the stops, my friend and I nearly missed our bus to Chile due to his incompetence. I get the impression that these ‘guides’ are paid peanuts and do the absolute bare minimum as a result. When we arrived to Chile we were dropped off with the bus driver refusing to leave us at our accommodation. We paid 130 BOBs for this bus and were expected to just find our own way to our accommodation. After much insistence from us he left us off in the end. If you want to actually learn something about this area and take your time to enjoy the different sites I would book with a different tour company!

I booked a tour with Howlanders and it was operated by Skyline Traveler. The Salt flats are absolutelly amaizing and a must see.If visiting again, will definatelly book with different company . To start with , Skyline Taveler did not collect me from the bus station upon my arrivial from La Paz as comunicated in our whatapp corresponndence . I had to ring them myself and remind them. The first day of the tour was super nice as we visited the Salt flats. We ended up not seeing the refletion effect due to our gide and drivers not really beeing organised. On the second day, we were told breakfast is at 6, and 6:30 we are leaving the accomodation . Our drivers and tour gide were no where to be found as they overslept and it was people from the grop that had to go and wake them up . We did not leave the accomodation till 8:30. When asked if we can head to the flats to see the reflection the guide refused saying that will cost extra. In general the second day was a lot of stops not that nice and everything was dragged with a lunch break over an hour and half . The third day again, we left few hours after the agreed time for departure . I was continuing to Chile . I was droped off to catch my bus , at 10 sharp , as the bus was waithing for me . The sites I was soposed to visit on day 3 were all rushed and the guide was not at all serious taking theit time literally doing nothing and I ended up woring about missing my bus to Chille . Over all really unprofessional company starting from pick up ,to drivers/ guides . U are better off booking with someone else

Share a bit of what I witnessed in Uyuni, if you are going to cross the border direction San Pedro de Atacama I recommend tour of 3 days otherwise do the 2 days if you do not have to pay 150 Boliviano Avaroa Reserve off the value of the tour closed with the agency to see 2 lagoon and face almost 7 hours back to Uyuni. The altitude affects each one differently I didn't feel anything, but I came across people with fatigue and others feeling bad.

We bought the tour from Howlanders, and Skyline travelers (Uyuni agency) operated it. It was perfect! The guide was very kind, very good driver, and very caring. He made sure that we arrived at points of interest at times other (either first or last) than the other groups to be quiet, and if we arrived at the same time as other groups, he would take us to a more secluded corner. The first evening he organized an aperitif in the middle of Salar at sunset, with red wine! The food was very good and very abundant. The accommodation was comfortable (for accommodation in the desert, of course they are not 4 stars hotels and it was cold in the evening). And he accompanied us to the Chilean border at the end of the tour. Really perfect!

Excellent tour. Very reliable organization. Fast to respond. I have always wanted to come see the Uyuni salt flats, so I wanted a for sure great experience here. Howlanders did not disappoint. I did the 3 day tour, and it was fantastic. My tour guides "Alberto" and "Placido" were friendly, more than willing to take as many photos as we wanted, and made sure we were taken care of. Book Uyuni Salt Flats with them!!!

It's quite difficult at the moment to find a good and reliable tour company that doesn't charge you a very high price. Due to the lack of tourists at the moment, the only longer tours you can get in Uyuni are private and most agencies we contacted via online and WhatsApp didn't respond or didn't want to negotiate. Skyline Traveller were quick to respond, they were accommodating, the price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. We were supposed to go as part of a group, however it didn't happen and we ended up going just the two of us which was perfect, a private tour!! We did the 3 day tour to Salar and parque Nacional Eduardo Avaroa. We visited the train cemetery, Salar, a few small lagunas on the way, Laguna Colorada, geisers, hot springs, laguna negra (instead of laguna verde as we heard the water is not green anymore but white), we saw hundreds of flamingos in most of he lagunas. Stunning scenery. It was a beautifil trip and worth every penny. Rigo, our guide was young but very professional. He is fun, knowledgeable, responsible and just an excellent guide. We are mostly vegetarians and he arranged and made sure we got what we wanted or needed. He was very accommodating. The food was great, the accommodations on the way are basic but comfortable and perfect for the night. After all, you go for the adventure and experience. If you are looking for a reliable and honest tour agency in Uyuni, get in touch with Howlanders and they'll arrange the tour tgat suits you. I definitely recomend going with Rigo as your guide

Because of the coronavirus issue I had to cancel. They managed it very quickly and smoothly. Delighted with the treatment received. I'll definitely hire him back with them. Very professional.

Hello, we had to cancel a super trip to Peru and Bolivia for the Crown. And I want to thank Howlanders because at the moment they are the only ones who have paid us 90% of the amount of the 3-day tour that we had hired a month ago. We hope to make the trip later, when we can and we will count on you for the tours. Thank you so much and keep it up. Veronica
