What To Expect
Upper Barrakka Gardens
A Maltese classic and the undisputed king of street food: Pastizzi! These warm, flaky pastries are filled with either ricotta or curried peas. Found in every corner of Malta, pastizzi are delicious, satisfying, and surprisingly addictive.
St. John's Co-Cathedral
Try the Imqarrun (at lunch) or the Ravjul (at dinner), different kinds of maltese pasta, made in restaurants that follow the traditional homemade recipes.

5.00I have done several food walking tours and this did not disappoint. Marinella gave us a fabulous combination of food, history and local knowledge. She was helpful with good places to eat, drink and learn more about Malta. The quality of the food at the places she took us to was amongst the best I have eaten in Malta. I would certainly encourage anyone to take her tour.

There was a good variety of items. Marinella was very knowledgeable, answered everyone's questions very well, and made everyone feel very welcome. I can strongly recommend this tour.

5.00Really enjoyed our evening with Marinella. We walked through town for 2 or 3 hours sampling a number of local dishes and learning the history of both Valletta and Malta more broadly. The tour spanned 4 stops and was a long, but leisurely walk throughout town. For our tour, with were paired with a couple from Germany who were lovely. Thank you for a fantastic evening, we were so full by the end!!
