What To Expect
Upper Barrakka Gardens
A Maltese classic and the undisputed king of street food: Pastizzi! These warm, flaky pastries are filled with either ricotta or curried peas. Found in every corner of Malta, pastizzi are delicious, satisfying, and surprisingly addictive.
St. John's Co-Cathedral
Try the Ftira, the traditional local sandwich; it’s crunchy, savory, and bursting with Mediterranean flavor, a perfect street-side snack or try the Ravjul, the maltese dumplings, made in restaurants that follow the traditional homemade recipes.

5.00I can’t say enough great things about this walking food tour. Marinella was the best tour guide ever. She was so incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Malta and introduced us to delicious street food and traditional Maltese cuisine. We loved everything we ate and had the most amazing time walking through Valleta and seeing Malta though her eyes. I highly recommended this tour to any fellow foodies.
