Pickup was 2 hours late. Tour then seemed rushed. Guide was good but limited by scheduling. I would not recommend this tour.

Unfortunately, I have to say this is the worst tour I have ever been on. Tour guide Mario would point out landmarks on our route to Valletta, but since it was dark outside and the bus driver left the interior bus lights on for the duration of the trip, you couldn’t see anything. Once in the cities, Mario would point out buildings that had historical significance, as we zipped by four or five or more buildings, not knowing which one he was even talking about. We arrived in Valletta and stood near a beautiful fountain, which our guide said nothing about. Valletta at nighttime is a beautiful city, but you get maybe 20 - 30 minutes there to stop and see the ruins of the opera house, and then walk to the City Theatre for an 18-minute Malta 5D show (which was fun and interesting) before walking back to the bus. If I had been traveling solo, I would have abandoned the tour at this point and stayed in Valletta for a few hours. Mdina was also beautiful at night, but the stop again lasted maybe 20 - 30 minutes. The final stop at Mosta was, and I quote, “a 10-minute photo op” of the dome, which you could only see from the outside since it was closed at night. Four people on our tour abandoned the group at this point, to avoid the hour trip back on the bus, taking a Bolt instead. The couple who asked me to inform our guide that they would not be returning said, and again this is a quote, “we can’t handle another hour of that.” For fellow travelers: Be aware that if you are in the northern part of the island, you will be the first pick up and last drop off of MANY, so you’ll spend nearly 5 hours on this tour. It took over an hour from our pick-up until the tour started. You spend 5 hours on a bus for less than an hour and a half total exploring the cities. If we could see anything outside of the windows, and had a better tour guide, this wouldn’t have been so bad, and this is not the main reason for my poor review, just a heads up. My suggestion (not that anyone is asking) would be to change the tour to depart earlier in the evening so there is daylight to see by on the route to Valletta; plan to get to Valletta at dusk to see the city lit up after you watch the 5D show; and skip the Mosta “photo op” entirely.

I LOVED THIS TOUR! this was easy the highlight of our trip! We booked this just thinking we’d get to see the main sights but our tour guide gave us soooo much more than that! She was funny, informative and extremely engaging, I just can’t remember her name sorry! We stayed in Mellieha and we got picked up at the door of our hotel and then taken to Valletta. To experience a new city in the middle of the night is quite something. The 5D show was alright but not really my thing, still very informative and interesting to learn about the history of the island! (I can’t actually see 3D effects but that’s my issue, not yours!). Mdina was fabulous. To see it at night, the winding streets and little corners is fabulous. And finally, to visit the Mosta dome and see the famous miracle basilica, just wow. Well worth the money, I’d return and do this tour again and again!

Changed the pickup time & location, 1 hour later & I didn’t get the message until waiting at the wrong spot & time. The driver never spoke whilst driving us there. The tour guide was very rude, unprofessional & unhelpful. Everyone participating in the tour thought the same & all comment on the tour guide attitude & how rubbish the tour was. The tour guide lost people & they missed the 5d show. I travel the world & always book tours with Viator & have never experienced such a rubbish tour. At one point we was going to leave & get a taxi back.

Beautiful scenery & amazing buildings. Tour guide was just ok. Tour bus was 15 minutes late picking us up. Just an average tour experience.

The 5D video was intetesting, but the whole trip was more traveling than actual sightseeing. Valletta is in the title of the tour, but you don't do any walking around in Valletta, which is a shame because it's beautiful at night. A stop in Mosta was a 10 minute photo stop at the main church, also beautiful. Overall, not worth the money. The guide was nice.

Very interesting and informative tour, the guide 'Ernest' was interesting and answered all questions put to him. The bus driver 'Roger' was as informative of many other parts of the Island's after our guide had left us to head home. A leisurely pace all the way throughout. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Tour purchased in advance from 'Italy, a special thanks to Cetty Muraglia, exquisitely kind person, who gave us many good tips. having paid before arriving at mortar, I could even pay by bank transfer, getting detailed explanations, Cetty clarified all my doubts, leaning on the agency "supreme", we made the half-day visit to the valley, with Mark, a Maltese guy, very good who also spoke very good Italian (in addition to French and of course English) we would have preferred an excursion exclusively with Italian people, to avoid waiting for the explanation in other languages, beautiful tour, unmissable Malta Expirience Tour show" a screening (like cinema) with headphones in all languages including Italian, very beautiful and engaging. beautiful visit to the "casa rocca piccolo" The visit is half a day so at 2 pm it was over, but at Mark's suggestion, we refused the bus ride to the hotel and stayed until 6 pm, turning around the center of the valley, staying even for lunch there, the Public Transport Service works well, you pay directly on the bus, even with ATM
