We LOVED our tour with Danae! If you are visiting Valparaiso, you need to take this tour. Danae gave us an authentic, local, and well rounded understanding of the city. It was cloudy and cold on the day we went, and we appreciated that Danae tweaked our itinerary to make sure we could still see all of the sights and make the most of the gloomy day. Riding along all of the public transit is a highlight, as it gave us a good understanding of the rhythm and day to day life of the city, as well as empowered us to navigate it on our own! Danae had an incredible understanding of the history of both Valparaiso and the art we looked at. The pace of the tour was great, and done well so you don’t have to climb to many hills or stairs! Once we mentioned we liked art gallery’s and music, Danae made sure to incorporate stops into the trip, introducing us to the different artists and store owners as we went along. It changed the trajectory of our trip, and I don’t think we would’ve come to love Valparaiso so much if it weren’t for Danae. HIGHLY recommend! Pro tip: do it on your first or second day in town! We spent the following days retracing our steps and revisiting the places she recommended to us, stopping to shop and eat and wander.

This is a fantastic way to spend a day in Valparaiso. Our guide, Christian, was terrific. He was born and raised in the neighborhoods we explored on foot giving us unique perspective. The excursion is about 7 hours but included a long break for lunch at a great but reasonably priced restaurant. We covered a lot of ground on foot and various forms of public transportation. Total steps walked was about 7,500 ( 3.5 miles) but not strenuous. The street art was fascinating. Highly recommend this tour of you want to experience the essential Valparaiso up close. Do it! You won’t regret it

We were locals for the day in Valparaiso! Wide buses, trains, funiculars, trolleys to navigate this beautiful art filled town. Christian is a local who loves sharing his city. He was so kind, considerate knowledgeable. Fun stops for traditional food and drinks! Highly recommend.

Our cruise ship was late into the Port by approximately 4 hours yet our guide Pablo assured us he would be waiting for us when the ship would finally arrive - and he was. Took us on an informative walking tour of Valparaiso. Well spoken and well versed on the the local sites and customs. If you are visiting Valparaiso then I recommend you use Pablo as your guide.
