4.00The day is very long (about 12 hours) but with two round trips by ferry (3 hours in total), ferry that has to wait more than half an hour and sometimes an hour when it is late. The terminal is also a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The option should be given to take the ferry from 11 a.m. to 9 a.m. as required. On Vancouver Island, the distances are great and that's a long drive. Otherwise, the Butchart Gardens are very nice and the city of Victoria retains a slightly old-fashioned British charm. As it stands, travel is not very cost-effective even if it is valuable to have a guide driver.

5.00Got picked up at 9:30am and dropped off 12 hours later. 1.5 hour ferry ride each way, plus 30 minutes waiting to board is a big chunk of time, but the ride over flies by. Did the Butchart Gardens and Craigdarroch Castle, China Town and the wharf. All were worth the trip. Anthony our tour guide was knowledgeable, accommodating, and great communicator in making sure the day is what we wanted it to be. He’s been in Vancouver the vast majority of his life and done tours for years and it showed. Highly recommend, but clear your schedule for the day.

5.00Private day tour to Victoria was amazing. Our tour guide Anthony was absolutely spectacular. He was super knowledgeable and a lot of fun. His instructions were very clear and we felt completely at ease all day. The ferry ride was fun. Butchart Gardens were beyond beautiful. Downtown Victoria was great for shopping with lots of time allotted. Cannot say enough great things about Anthony. He absolutely made the tour.

5.00Our day trip to Victoria Island from downtown Vancouver was so fun and seamless! Stefan our driver was timely, pleasant, so well read and such a wonderful personality. We were able to see Victoria Island, Craigdarroch Castle, fishermans wharf, Butchart Gardens., plus multiple drive by spots. Logistics were planned and executed to ensure the most of the tour. It was a long day time wise but never felt like it. Highly recommend this tour worth the cost. Actually for all that we did on the tour a great value.

5.00Our tour guide, Shannon, did an outstanding job on our private tour, starting with timely pickup to ensure we make the ferry on schedule, talking about the neighborhood of Vancouver since she was born and raised here, knowing the side streets to minimize traffic and how wonderful Vancouver and Victoria are. We really enjoyed the ferry ride and we able to see a couple of whales, then to Victoria where we truly enjoyed the Butchert Gardens and the Inner Harbor.
Good trip, great driver, and lots of fun … the gardens are amazing.

5.00What a great day! On the ferry ride we saw a large pod of Orcas swimming towards the shore. After disembarking we visited Butchart Gardens which was spectacular. It didn’t hurt that we had perfect weather. Next on to the waterfront where we sampled excellent fish and chips and fish tacos. Wen by the parliament building and the Empress hotel. Very long day… I wish we had 2!
