What To Expect
Experience the thrill of a hot air balloon ride over Vang Vieng. Enjoy a 30-minute flight . Choose from a sunrise or sunset flight. Be picked up from your hotel in Vangrong and head to the launch site. Climb into the basket and take off into the sky. Soar over the city and take in the stunning views of the landscape below. watch as the sky changes color. After your flight, be dropped off back at your hotel.
Once you arrive at the kayaking starting point, your kayak safety officer will instruct you on how to paddle your kayak before you head down the Nam Song River. During your journey, you'll navigate numerous small rapids and admire the unparalleled beauty of the riverbanks.

1.00We did the balloon sunrise trip and kayak tour. Pros: 1)felt safe during the hot air balloon ride. 2) We saw lovely scenery. 3)The kayak down the river is nice, cool water, small rapids and lovely mountains around. Cons: 1) the staff are unfriendly, no smiles, no hello, at the end the tuk tuk pulled up at our hotel and no one said anything we were just expected to get out and leave. It wasn’t a nice happy experience. We felt like numbered cattle. 2)They don’t have life jackets for larger sized European clients (ours got one buckle closed, just) 3) their communication is often non existent, I asked questions on WhatsApp and didn’t get a reply to all I asked. We had no idea that we would be returned to the hotel between the hot air balloon part of the tour and the kayak tour. We struggled to know the itinerary. The safety briefing was extraordinarily brief. Worst of all through the staff just aren’t friendly to clients. We have done many tours in Asia (including Laos) and this is the worst from an experience point of view.
