I am Liuba, wine enthusiast and sommelier and together with Hugo, a trained and passionate chef, we are waiting for you to spend an evening of sharing at our house, tasting excellent wines paired with typical Venetian cichetti.

What To Expect
Yo! I am Liuba, wine enthusiast and sommelier and together with Hugo, who is a passionate and highly experienced chef, we are waiting for you at our home for an evening of tasting. In the time we will spend together, we will taste different wines: we will start the evening with a bubble and then continue with a white wine, a red and close with a sweet wine. To taste each wine we will pair a selection of cichetti (venetian tapas) and typical products prepared by Hugo (all products are home-made, even bread!). Do you want to experience a Venetian evening? We are waiting for you at our house! If you are curious and are not a bit of stairs to scare you, you just have to book... We are waiting for you!

5.00This was an amazing non-touristy experience and exactly what we were looking for. We had dinner cooked by Hugo and paired with wines from the region by Liuba. The food was delicious, the wine just as delicious and the company interesting and fun! We got to experience a local residence at a local dining table with local hosts who were excited and enthusiastic to impart their knowledge and love of local food and wine on to us! Our hosts even went so far as to do all they could to save our plans with them when our plans to dine with our hosts were partially foiled by an impromptu train strike and our hosts successfully did what they could to accommodate our schedule. The other dining guests were fellow Americans and their company was another added bonus!

5.00Such a glorious evening. Liuba and Hugo are so warm and kind and welcoming. They really go out of their way to make their home feel like yours! They took such care for our dietary restrictions and the changes they made were so so delicious. I'll never eat like this again!! The wine paired *perfectly*!! The food was DELICIOUS. Such talented individuals with such passion!! Add this to your itinerary you will not regret it.
