The Vermont Nature Trail takes you through a lush rainforest with an amazing variety of tropical flora, ending up with beautiful scenery and a chance to see the famous St. Vincent Parrot in its natural habitat. The trail is approximately 2 miles (3.5 km) long, and winds through lush primary and secondary rainforest and plantations, offering visitors breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

After pick up you will be taken on a drive through the beautiful capital of Kingstown better know as “The City of Arches” which is the home to three (3) historic churches. The visitors will then be taken on a scenic drive along the Leeward Highway.

3.00Very difficult hiking - glad I accepted a walking staff from the guide. I’m in excellent condition but the slick mud and tall steps in many places made the footing treacherous. The guide gave very interesting facts about the vegetation and the island. There just was a lot of difficult terrain so I couldn’t look around to enjoy my surroundings. If it hadn’t had rained the paths would have been much easier to handle.
