Discover the story and life of Versailles on an 2 hour and 30 minutes guided visit of Versailles Palace in a group of no more than 18 people. Then enjoy some free time on your own in the Gardens. Next, head to Giverny to visit on your own Claude Monet's house and gardens in the afternoon (8 pax maximum ).

Participants must be able to follow their guide for approximately 3 hours. The Palace of Versailles is very crowded, and we must adhere to the scheduled visiting times. Additionally, the guide will not be able to provide personal assistance. If you have walking difficulties, health issues, or any other concerns, we suggest reconsidering your participation in this tour to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone.

5.00Oh my gosh, what an amazing place and Maria brought all of it alive and was able to clearly describe the times and the significance of both the monarchs and peasants perspectives changed over the years that lead to the revolution. It was truly enlightening. There were six of us on the tour and we were all glad we took it.
History comes to life at Versailles and Giverny

5.00Our driver, Arjuna, was very courteous and obliging. He even let me move my seat so I could reach a charging port in the van as my phone battery was low because I took so many photos at Versailles. Our guide, Philip, was very knowledgeable and informative and did an excellent job of shepherding us through Versailles’ many rooms and the crowd of visitors. The gardens were very impressive, but it took so long to get through the line at the cafe that we didn’t have a chance to find the dancing fountains before we had to get back to the meeting point with Arjuna. Giverny was unbelievably beautiful and Pascal, our guide was friendly and obviously very well acquainted with the layout of the house and gardens. I was a little surprised by the brief period of time he was with us, but the site was so jam packed with visitors that it’s probably best not to have any more time on the guided tour. Not everyone in my party could see the video that was shown in the van on the way to Giverny because the headrests blocked the viewing screen. Overall, the tour was a great experience and an enjoyable way to see these two fascinating and historic places.
