It is imperative that you provide us with the guest’s MOBILE PHONE NUMBER (including the country code). The reason is simple but crucial: guests sometimes arrive late. If a tour operator books on their behalf and uses the operator’s number instead of the guest’s, we have no way of contacting them directly. Unless the guest reaches out to us, they cannot rejoin the tour. However, if we have the guest’s own number, we can immediately send their tickets and ensure they can easily rejoin the tour without missing out.

The tour guide, Alistair, was outstanding. He clearly has an exhaustive knowledge of the history of the place, and it’s part in the evolution of French history. In addition, his manner of explaining things was thorough and easy to understand. He patiently listened and answered questions from our group, without thinking that any question was irrelevant. We are very grateful for how well he handled the tour. The organization of the entire trip (transportation, etc) was top class. Will definitely recommend it and especially Alistair.

Sign up for this tour! It was a perfect day! Very enjoyable walking tour of gardens of Versailles for my husband, myself and our 20 year old son. There was one other couple on the tour with us. Allister gave us a fun history lesson on the French monarchy that gave great insight into the French way of life. After the outside tour we toured the interior of Versailles on our own (tickets were included in price).

We had a wonderful tour with Alistair! His insight into the history of Versailles was spectacular and his willingness to answer questions as they came up was refreshing. He also brought bread to feed the carp, ducks and swans which was a nice touch! The way he combined the history of Versailles with the larger history of France and the French Revolution made the tour engaging and far more worth doing than going inside the castle.

Our tour group was made up of 8 people including elderly, teenagers and ASD needs. Our guide was punctual, welcoming and informative. The tour was thorough and insightful, enjoyable for everyone. There was a lot of walking throughout the entire day, but the pace was relaxed so manageable. We had to keep to a schedule in order to ensure timing for f fountain displays, garden transport links, lunch and palace entry. This is a new tour and would recommend to people with general good health and fitness. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
