• An exceptional guide but an unjustified value for money

  First of all, we would like to highlight the human and professional quality of our guide. She has been considerate, particularly attentive and with a strong historical culture. On this particular point, the performance was impeccable. ​However, our overall experience remains a disappointment for the following reasons, which we wish to share as a warning: ​Problem: A "VIP" fare for a "general public" route The prize: We paid 99 € per person, almost double the usual rate (about 50 €). Access: At this price, we expected a privileged visit. However, the route taken was strictly the same as that of the autonomous visitors. Comparison: Last year, with an official guide of the Castle, we had access to exclusive places (theatre, chapel, private apartments). Here, for twice the price, we stayed in crowded circuits without any access to areas that are not open to the public. Warning to future visitors Be careful before booking: this private company offers personalized support, but does not have the specific access rights that the official guides of the Versailles domain have. You will pay a high price for real expertise, but without any logistical advantage or route exclusivity. ​Our advice If you’re just looking for a pleasant companionship and in-depth explanations in the common rooms, this agency may be right for you. If you want to get your money's worth and discover the hidden behind the scenes of the Castle (small apartments, opera, etc.), we strongly advise you to go directly through the official ticket office of the Palace of Versailles for an institutional "guided tour".

  Overall a smooth tour by Eleanor who was great. Be prepared for crowds but Eleanor was able to navigate our small group nicely. Place is amazing....suggest a golf cart for the gardens as it is a huge place.

  Wonderful tour. Our guide was very informative and friendly. The pace was perfect. Afterwards, we stayed to visit the gardens and Trianon. If you choose this option, I highly recommend waiting in line for a golf cart. It is worth it! The Trianon is very far away and worth a trip to go see, and it made the experience enjoyable as weren't exhausted from what would have been a 45 min walk each way. Great tour!

  The instructions told us to meet our guide 20 minutes before our 12pm skip the line tour and he would be holding a blue flag. Not only did he arrive exactly at 12, he said he didn’t have a flag to hold. This caused us and the others waiting for the guide to feel very nervous that we were going to miss the tour. By the time he got our tickets and headsets we didn’t enter the palace until 12:20. He explained that tour groups are given staggered times like that which I understand but the tour shouldn’t have instructed us to arrive 40 minute prior then. After that the tour was ok but he left us off in the garden (for the self-guided portion) but did not give us our tickets to the garden so we couldn’t get back in once we left to see the Petit Trianon. And speaking of the Trianon, the guide did not give us the tickets for that either and I had to call Viator and have them WhatsApp me tickets so we could get what we paid for. Overall very underwhelming and unprofessional. Versailles was brilliant and I recommend visiting but with a different company.

  Our guided tour of the Palace of Versailles was absolutely outstanding. Naomi was an exceptional guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. She brought the palace to life with clear explanations and fascinating stories, making every room, especially the Hall of Mirrors, truly unforgettable. The organization was flawless: perfectly timed, smooth, and stress-free, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without worrying about logistics or crowds. After the guided tour, we were free to explore the Trianon area independently, which was a wonderful addition to an already fantastic experience.   We loved this experience! Our guide was outstanding and the customer service was really friendly , quick and helpful. We had just informed them that we wanted to upgrade our visit to the Full Experience with the Trianon access, and they assisted us promptly and professionally. Highly recommended

  Matisse was an absolutely outstanding tour guide, the best we’ve ever had (out of dozens of tours). He navigated the crowds masterfully. It was the perfect mix of guided and independent time.

  The guide never showed up. When I messaged and said we were waiting he informed me that he had tried contacting me about rescheduling via WhatsApp which I don’t use. I have already been charged for the tour and no refund has been issued.
