Beatrice was great at greeting us at the meeting spot and delivering the group to Clare at Versailles. Clare took over the group and was kind, funny, and very knowledgeable. She went above and beyond and took the group to a few surprise spots after the tour.

Marina and Claire were excellent guides and navigated the train and Versailles with ease. Their years of experience at Versailles were evident and made learning the history of the French kings easy and fun.

We were guided through the train, to the palace, where we met our guide. She was knowledgeable, funny, and fascinating. We saw the palace, walked through the gardens, and then chose to keep walking on our own. Before she left, our guide made sure we knew how to get back to Paris -thank you for that! Definitely would book another tour with this company.

We were supposed to tour Versailles but it was closed due to a power outage. We saw the gardens only. We were not notified until we walked to the gate!! Told we would get a PARTIAL refund, which we have yet to receive, and it SHOULD be a total refund , as we would NOT HAVE GONE AT ALL. Very disappointing!!!

You can do this on your own easily by buying your oun train tickets and Versailles tickets. They are direct trains to and from Paris so you can't get lost. With that said the guide on site adds a tremendous amount of information about the pallace and historical context that you probably would not get on your own. It is also nice haveing a guide meet you at the Paris train station and then walk you to the palace to meet your palace guide.

Everything on our tour was perfect from start to finish. We arrived early, so we had croissants and coffee at the little cafe where we met up with our tour group. Our tour guide, Berrick, took us to Versailles via the train. He made sure to we knew how to get back to our stops after the tour. He was very helpful explaining the transit system and answering any other questions we had. We had a nice small group. Once arriving at Versailles we met our guide for the tour of the palace Marion. Marion was wonderful. She had a vast knowledge of Versailles and France’s history. Versailles was amazing. The palace was opulent. The gardens were stunning. We saw the Hall of Mirrors. We learned about the short history of the royals living in Versailles. What a great day. After the informative and fun tour, we were free to stay as long as we wanted. We roamed around the groves and the gardens for a while then headed back to Paris on the train. Do this tour, you won’t be disappointed.

This was the perfect half day tour of Versailles. Our first guide, Manos, helped get us set up for the train and was very helpful explaining best train practices and giving thorough details on how to use our train ticket to get back. Then for the main tour Claire was exceptional! Very professional and efficient getting us inside and moving between rooms. She provided lots of great facts and details while showing us the apartments. And then also gave a great overview of the garden and even showed us some fun little secrets like the dancing area. This was by far one of the best tours I’ve ever done. Highly recommended!
