Please note that the scheduled time access can be slowed down on peak days due to various safety controls established by the Versailles Palace
We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any walking impairments that require special assistance on our group tours. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages.
We recommend bringing a bottle of water with you and wearing a pair of comfortable shoes as there is quite a bit of walking involved
Please note that the tour departs promptly at the scheduled start time. If you are not checked in by then, the group will have to depart for Versailles without you. Once the tour has departed, we cannot guarantee your participation.

4.00We were able to hit the highlights of Versailles. I wish I would have picked a longer tour but this one sufficed. The Tour Guide was knowledgeable and kind. Our weather was terrible so we didn't get to see Marie Antoinette's house because the train quit running. They do leave you there so be prepared to take the rail by yourself which was quite scary.

4.00The train ride was good and I like the general layout of the tour. However, there were so many other tourists there, it was difficult to stay together and not to be confused with other groups. They all seem to be wearing the same via a tour voice box and lanyard!! the God was very knowledgeable overall..

1.00The tour itself was good. Our guide did a great job explaining the rooms and the art. There were lots of people on the tour and at Versailles, but that was to be expected. It was not my favorite tour but I'm glad we saw Versailles. My issue was the tour company listed the incorrect meeting site. I checked several times the night before/morning of to make sure i knew where/when to meet. I'm a little OCD about it. At said meeting time/location I received a test from the company asking where we were. I sent them a screen shot of the meeting point listed on Viator. They said we were was in the wrong place and that it had been updated (not sure when as I checked several times that morning to confirm). We did not have time to meet the group at the new location (in Paris) so had to take a taxi to Versailles and barely made it in time for the tour. It cost us about $50 to get there when the tour we booked included train tickets to/from. Needless to say that was very a stressful and disappointing experience.

5.00Veronique was excellent as our tour guide for the Versailles Palace and Gardens. She was very knowledgeable about the history of and the different rooms and furnishings inside the Palace; she spoke English well albeit with a French accent. The individual audio system worked well. She also did a fine job herding the group on to and off of the Metro for the roughly 30-minute ride to Versailles and leading us through a pretty crowded and popular site. She also gave the group time for the important bathroom break and explained how to return via the Metro for the ride back to Paris at the end of the tour.

4.00This was a lovely and well-organized tour of Versailles. The train travel was efficient and we saw considerable amount of the palace and grounds. The guided tour was often difficult to understand as the guide for the English language tour was not a native speaker which is common but in this case their pronunciation was quite difficult to interpret so we missed a lot of the content.

5.00Viator made booking this activity very easy. Meeting instructions were clear, our tour guide checked in with us and confirmed the meeting point the night before the tour. Joe our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a good guided tour for a first timer in Paris and included train fare to and from Paris. Allowed free time at the end to continue to explore Versailles. Highy recommend!
