Come hungry because you will eat a lot. Wolfgang was amazing and took our small group all over the city to places you’d never find by yourself. All of the food was delicious.

Excellent tour!! One of my favorite tours! Maria was the best host, and showed us many amazing places in Vienna (as well as navigation on public transport). Breakfast was fantastic, and it just kept getting better from there! Maria’s knowledge of Vienna made for interesting conversation and all of the various foods we were able to experience were memorable. The food stand at the market was a once in a lifetime find with Tomas. Lunch in a beautiful garden really finished the tour well! Maria is a gem, and the tour was amazing!!

This is by far my favorite food tour! I booked this tour two years ago and loved it, and now I took my parents to Vienna and knew I had to take them on this tour because I enjoyed it so much. Our guide Christophe was amazing! He made the tour so fun while also sharing so much info about the culture, food and history. He was also really nice and funny, and you felt like you were hanging out with a good friend rather than a guide. My only warning is to show up to this tour hungry and don’t even bother booking dinner after. You will be so full, but in the best way! I love this tour takes you all over Vienna to experience food and see more of the local side. I can’t say enough good things about this tour. Book it! I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommend this tour. You definitely get to see different neighborhoods and how to navigate the transit system. There was so much food. The food was excellent and the tour guide was amazing.

Totally lovely experience with Maria. We had 4 stops and lots of rides on subway/tram which added to the experience of getting to know Vienna. While sugar and meat are not my cuisine of choice, I tasted everything ( except the horse) and a great tour. The venues range fromunesco site coffee house to amazing sausage shop with owner whose family founded it 59 years ago. Totally worth the price, even if menu. Is not your preference. Highly recommend

Easily one of the best tours we’ve taken. Billed as a culinary tour, it delivered far more - although we were absolutely stuffed with a variety of delicious food. We were lucky that our family of 3 were the only participants that day - perhaps because it was still off-peak season in mid March. The manager called to assure us that they will honor our booking, essentially giving us a full private tour upgrade without extra cost. Our guide Maria took us through off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods, showed us how to use Vienna’s trams and U-Bahn, and shared backstories and factoids about the city and places we visited. Since she designed the itinerary herself, we can see both her enthusiasm at each food-tasting stop, and her sincere desire to hear our feedback. Because it was a “private tour”, she tailored it to our small group and our love for city walks, adding extra stops without making it feel rushed. At the end of the tour, we asked her to give us some local restaurant recommendations to explore on our own. Her recommendations were really thoughtful - ones we tried turned out to be fantastic in that they do not only have good food and services with affordable prices, but also have interesting characters and are situated in very different parts of the city with easy public transportation access. We ate with friendly locals 100% of the time thanks to Maria! We definitely recommend any first-timer Vienna visitors to sign up with this tour early in the trip, and use it as an orientation. It helped us quickly get acquainted with this diverse and magical city, and made us feel comfortable to explore beyond a checklist of tourist spots.

Remarkable way to tour the city districts. Great food prepared and served by the locals. We explored several ethnic areas and received a good historical education from our guide Maria! I highly recommend this half day experience. Maria and Wolfe are the best!

I had such a great time on this Vienna Food Tour. Our guide, Christoph, was amazing: funny, knowledgeable, and super welcoming. The group was small, which made it feel really personal and easy to chat with everyone. The tour itself was very smooth, with reservations handled for us, and it was nice to experience different parts of the city using various modes of transportation. The food was incredible and very generous in portion. We got to try a huuge variety of traditional Viennese cuisine. Overall, a fun and delicious experience that I’d definitely recommend.
