What To Expect
Kick off the tour in a must visit Viennese cafe hidden just of Viennas famous shopping street. once home to bohemian thinkers, drinkers, poets and musicians, enjoy a warm apple strudel and the ritual of the cafe.
Rub shoulders with the locals at a Wurstlestand and enjoy an iconic Käserkraner (molten cheese sausage) at Viennas famous stand, loved by Anythony Bordain and locals alike.

5.00We were traveling as a family (2 adult boys) with Elena in a very small group, and we were completely thrilled: Elena was extremely committed as a guide, had a wealth of knowledge about everything that was of interest along the way, could respond to all the questions and wishes of the participants. She brought us to Vienna with heart and mind, knows a lot about cooking and the whole culture around it, led us to great places and tastings, everything was there that pleased the palate, and released us with many tips for the further stay! We would never have come to many (hidden) places she took us to alone. Thank you for this great experience and the diverse experiences!!!!

5.00Elena was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable about Vienna and we really enjoyed the walk around the historical centre. It was our first day there and we saw a lot and ate the most delicious food in some great places. We were very full afterwards so definitely don’t eat breakfast if you do this tour! We were also lucky to be the only ones on the tour which was brilliant for us. We’ve done lots of food tours in many cities and I would really recommend this one to anyone visiting Vienna. Thank you Elena!

5.00Elena was brilliant, a lovely lady with a huge amount of local knowledge. We went into places we wouldn't have known to step into and tried some lovely local delicacies...the drinks upgrade gives you some very alcoholic schnapps and a very boozy coffee...😊 secret food tours seem well organised and I would definitely look at using them again.

5.00We went touring with Elisabeth in March. The food was amazing and just kept getting better and better as the tour went on. Elisabeth is very knowledgeable, great to chat with and she had everything running very smoothly. The venues we visited were genuinely interesting and historical and not something we would have easily found ourselves. We covered quite a bit of ground, but the walking didn't feel like very long at all because the pacing of the tour felt good. I definitely recommend doing this tour early on in your trip so you can re-visit your favourite spots and foods. Thanks Elisabeth!

5.00We had a fantastic tour with Elfi in Vienna this month! Elfi told us that is was her first ever tour, but if she hadn't mentioned it we wouldn't have know - she was brilliant. The locations and food were excellent, with a nice range of options. Adjustments were made for a vegetarian in our group without reducing the amount of food and variety provided, which we really appreciated. Elfi was friendly and knowledgeable without overwhelming the group with too much information, it felt like the perfect balance and we would highly recommend this tour!

1.00I was the only guest registered so the tour was cancelled. I have done food tours with Secret Food Tours in other cities and was very happy with those so this was disappointing.
