Hofburg
The Hofburg is the former principal imperial palace of the Habsburg dynasty in Austria. The Maria Theresa Memorial is one of the most important monuments of the Habsburg monarchy in Vienna. It commemorates Empress Maria Theresa, who ruled the Habsburg monarchy from 1740 to 1780. The monument stands since 1888 on the Maria-Theresien-Platz between the Art History Museum, which opened in 1891, and the Natural History Museum, which opened in 1889.

1.00DO NOT BOOK this company Ring-Tours.com. I booked and paid for a Gold Tour in order to be collected from our hotel in Vienna as my sister is disabled. The car never turned up and I was unable to contact them by phone - the number on their website is not in service. I suspect this is a scam. I was contacted by email and asked if I wanted a refund or to re-booked. I requested a refund. They advised that a refund was made yet it never turned up in my bank account. In addition, when I followed up looking for the refund I was asked for my IBAN details, despite having previously been told that the refund had already been processed.
