5.00If you don’t join the Hungry Tuk Tuk Vientiane tour with BCFamilyTour, you haven’t really visited Vientiane. This is one of the most unique experiences in the city. We tried to book it the first time with a fake company, but luckily my wife noticed it. After that, we booked with BCFamilyTour.com. The tour guide, the really delicious food, and the cultural experiences were amazing. We learned so much from this tour.

5.00A good introduction to Laos street food and culture. Remember that tuk tuk may get stuck in rush hour traffic so you will end up inhaling fumes but that's also a part of the experience. Our guide was flexible in choice of food and encouraged us to explore different options.

5.00This is a must do if you want to start to appreciate Laotian food. Our guide Ere was very knowledgeable and introduced us to a number of market foods that were delicious. Our only complaint is that there was almost too much food! It was a great introduction to the city as well as Ere pointed out many of the landmarks and stopped at the Patuxai Arch and fountain.

4.00Great food tour with our lovely and friendly guide Noi. Had a good introduction to local foods and traditions. The markets were interesting and gave a good insight into the Laos food culture. Noi was very accommodating and we didn’t feel rushed, however we were a bit late for the ice cream shop so didn’t get dessert. This didn’t bother us, perhaps we should have been pushed along a bit more to stay on time. We have only taken one star off as sometime it wasn’t clear if we were being asked if we wanted to try some food as part of the tour or buy it ourselves. Some feedback would be to have a clearer itinerary of foods we will try rather than asking us what we would like. That’s what we have been use to on other tours. I think with a couple of tweaks this could be an even better tour.

5.00A little bit of culture and a lot of cuisine. I highly recommend the fried meal worms and crickets. They cook them differently in Laos because these were delicious; much better than the 'same' dish that I had in Bangkok a few years ago. This tour was a good introduction to Laos and Vientiane

4.00This was a great introduction to Vientiane and an easy way to navigate the city and try Laotian food. This was a great activity for one night in Vientiane and our guide Bee was very hospitable. We recommend researching the types of food you’d like to try before the tour as it is very open and requires you to ask what food you would like to eat from the markets. We enjoyed the spring rolls, ice cream and exploring the markets where there were lots of food options. An empty stomach and open mind is beneficial!
