The tour guide ,Jack was very good, he explained all the different types of Laos food in the markets, he arranged samples for us. This night tour is worth doing, as it's cooler at night and being in a tuk tuk adds to the fun, well worth doing and ask for Jack to be your guide.

Wow, what an evening! I organised this tour as a little date night activity with my husband for our last day in Vientiane and my only regret is not doing it on the first night. Our guide Jack was so lovely, and very knowledgeable about the local Vientiane food scene. He took us to both the tourist foodie hot spots but also to some smaller, more intimate local places for the most authentic experience. He walked us through all the wonderful foods and told us so much about the history, culture and customs of Vientiane. We had an incredible time - excellent food and excellent company.

We had a great tour yesterday. Our guides were very knowledgeable and interesting. We tried and saw food that we wouldn’t have normally seen or tried. A great experience

A good introduction to Laos street food and culture. Remember that tuk tuk may get stuck in rush hour traffic so you will end up inhaling fumes but that's also a part of the experience. Our guide was flexible in choice of food and encouraged us to explore different options.

This is a must do if you want to start to appreciate Laotian food. Our guide Ere was very knowledgeable and introduced us to a number of market foods that were delicious. Our only complaint is that there was almost too much food! It was a great introduction to the city as well as Ere pointed out many of the landmarks and stopped at the Patuxai Arch and fountain.
