Buddha Park

Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan) is an open-air sculpture park with giant sculptures of Buddha and Hindu deities. Located 25km southeast of Vientiane, the park was founded in 1958 by monk and sculpture artist, Bunleua Sulila.

Patuxay Monument

Patuxai is a war monument in the centre of Vientiane, Laos, built between 1957 and 1968. The Patuxai was dedicated to those who fought in the struggle for independence from France

Today’s tour was great! Toy was our guide and he did a wonderful job with information, explaining, and making sure everything was taken care of. Visiting the Buddha garden was amazing with all of the statues. The temples we went to all beautiful.

Temples, Buddhas, and monuments. The day had it all. The visit to the COPE Visitor Centre was eye-opening, seeing the ongoing ramifications of the 'secret' war in Laos where so much unexploded ordnance from the Vietnam War era is still affecting the lives of modern day Lao people

We have such a wonderful day with our guide Som. He is very knowledgeable in explaining the details of all the places we visited. Great driver and good minivan with good AC. Very important for the hot weather. We got to see all the places at a very comfortable pace. We enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a day trip in Vientiane.

Highly knowledgeable guide, got to see all the highlights at a good pace. I was very comfortable in the car provided with great AC and the driver had a cooler with water bottles. The guide stopped at a renowned local restaurant where I had a memorable meal before we wrapped up the tour back at my hotel.
