My husband and I hike in the US and I would rate this as difficult, plus. Although this hike is under 5 miles, it’s super challenging . I would recommend you use hiking poles, they helped immensely on the way up but mostly on the way down. The terrain included rocky, sandy, gravel, boulders, scrambling, and some flat areas. It’s super steep. Come early because there are literally 7 spots in the parking lot and cars park down on the road, we were lucky, we only had to walk 10 min to our car, others were parked much further away.
