What To Expect
Villa La Angostura
Departure 09:00 AM from San Martín de los Andes bordering Lake Lacar and from here the famous Camino de los 7 lagos begins. We will make the tour stopping at each of the lakes, viewpoints enabled by National Parks, Waterfalls and other places of interest that we find when passing. The 7 lakes are El Machónico, Falkner, Villarino, Escondido, Correntoso, Espejo and Nahuel Huapi. The Vulignanco Waterfall is another place to consider with an important viewpoint. Halfway we will stop on the shores of Correntoso Lake in a country inn attended by people from the Mapuche Community of the area to eat some delicious fried cakes with local homemade sweets. We will arrive at Villa la Angostura for lunch, and we will also do a guided excursion visiting all the most representative places. Also in this town we will visit the docks, the civic center, Bahía Mansa, La Brava and El Messidor Official Residence of the Province of Neuquén.

5.00Wonderful excursions through the forest of arrayanes, the best viewpoints in Villa la Angostura, and it is on the way of the seven lakes to San Martin de los Andes a wonder that does not go unnoticed, with viewpoints to the different lakes that surround the mountains. Just beautiful❣️

5.00Nice panoramic places to visit. The best thing is to rent a car and travel at your own pace. Leave early since the route is not in good condition and fill up with fuel; since there are no service stations from Angostura to San Martin. There are no places or stops where you can stop for toilets or for food; if you travel with small children you should bring a snack and water. The road is long.
