3.00Lyle’s knowledge of plants and vegetation was amazing. Different foods we tasted were delicious. Pickup point was difficult to figure out and nowhere to wait if you arrived early.
This is really a Botanical Tour with some food sampling

2.00This should really be called a Botany tour not a food tour. Our tour guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about the local plants, fruit and vegetable trees BUT our tour did not match the description of the village food tour. We did not make 5 stops ( we made 2) and we were no where near Charleston but in a smaller village a couple miles outside of Charleston. The experience did not provide a good value for the cost. Perhaps $50 would be more appropriate.

5.00We loved walking around with Lyall and Learning about all the local plants and fruits. Particularly interesting with seeing all of the different animals he keeps and tends to. We eat at a couple of local snack, shacks, and tried some local drinks. All in all, it was fun, informative, and a great way to experience local culture.

Tour Cancelled With No Notification and No Refund

1.00The tour guide did not show up for the tour. There was no notification of the cancellation and no response to the multiple messages I sent (at the time the tour was to start, 15 minutes after the scheduled time, and 30 minutes after the scheduled time) until several hours after the tour. I also called the listed phone number as did a local taxi driver, but there was no answer. This was very disappointing as I booked my trip to St. Kitts and Nevis to be sure I was on Nevis on Tuesday so I could join this tour. I have not yet received a refund for this tour either which the guide said she would address. Very unsatisfactory from both the tour company and Viator (with whom I have had many excellent experiences).
