Bodega Pirineos is one of the oldest wineries in the Somontano Designation of Origin. Created in 1964 as a wine growers cooperative, it has been growing without losing its essence.
A mixture of tradition and modernity, your visit is an excellent journey through the history of wine in the Somontano.
If we add to this the tasting of their wines, this is a great way to spend a different day with family or friends.

Very interesting visit, with magnificent explanation of the whole process of making the different types of wine. Then, a great tasting of different wines, accompanied by a pica-pica of products from the region. Very well explained all the concepts of a tasting.

Very privileged and honoured to have been shown around by Alvaro, his knowledge of the products both past and present was deep and encompassing. His pride and passion for the community and what the Bodega stands for were obvious. He himself is an asset and made the entire visit such a special experience. I was worried about being solo and being rushed through, but this was totally unfounded, and if anything I had extra time and attention given to me. All questions were answered with his English being excellent as well. I cannot recommend enough this Bodega and it's ethics, along with the tasting and local cheese and meat pairing choices, this was a fantastic day out. Having been to NZ / Australian & English vineyards, this has been the most thorough and intimate. The original concrete tanks and underground cellars were real interesting and eye opening. Thank you all, but especially Alvaro!

Very nice visit. We were received by Jorge who gave us a very complete presentation of the Bodega and devoting the necessary time. In French what we didn’t expect but which is very pleasant. Really recommend.

As always a visit with George of 10 in Bodega Pyrenees. It is the second time we visited the winery and we were always delighted. This time we did a wine tasting paired with ice cream, really a different activity with ice cream that surprised us. Jorge is charming, close and attentive. Thank you very much Jorge! We are sure we will visit you again!

Jorge our guide was the perfect host, kind and very knowledgeable, and make the whole experience enjoyable and interesting. The wine yard has a nice selection of affordable wines and a spectacular cellar with thousands of old bottles which gives you the impression of a travel in time.
