Discover the history of chocolate from pre-Hispanic origins to the present day. Using an audioguide in 4 languages, experience an incredible journey made up of interactive or immersive environments with films, 3D projections, tastings ... The journey begins in a virgin forest. On an animated panel, a little monkey tastes cocoa beans. An Aztec temple reveals the feathered serpent god "Quetzalcoatl", who, according to legend, brought cocoa to earth. The ground creaks, the hurricane lamps move, the windows reveal an azure sea ... The scene takes place in the 16th century, in a Spanish ship. It's later that chocolate will enter European courts and you can have fun having your picture taken in the royal armchairs. The "choco scanner" reproduces the movements of the body and extols the benefits of the cocoa tree fruit. The second floor is dedicated to industrialization. In the cabaret show, a 250 kg Statue of Liberty lights up the world alongside other chocolate sculptures. On a giant screen, three master chocolatiers present their recipes.
