Although we are Brussels natives, we still learned a lot about this neighborhood. A passionate and exciting guide despite a cold duck .. who managed the tour de force to captivate us and make us forget the bites of the cold! We’ll look at this neighborhood differently during a future walk! Thank you bcp for this wonderful walk! To advise!

Being a group of 12 friends from different places in Europe, Francois was a wonderful host during this tour. Starting at hotel Amigo, he guided us on a sunny Sunday morning to unusual & unique places in the Sablon & Marolles districts of Brussels. We thought we knew Brussels somewhat, we now know there is still so much more to explore & discover. Thank you very much Francois for being such a generous storyteller !

We learned from Simon so very much about the living conditions and progress through centuries for the disadvantaged yet strongly independent minded people who lived in the tight Marolles area outside the walls of Brussels. I expect there were similarities in the social histories of other European cities such as my "home town" of Dublin. Yet there are distinct differences in Marolles. One giant of a difference is the Palais de Justice; the story of which entralled us. I highly recommend this 2 hour walking tour

A great tour organized by Simon. For two hours, we take a real tour of the Marolles district of Brussels through the history of the social conflicts that have marked the lives of the inhabitants. You don't have to be very connoisseur to appreciate. Simon, our guide, made the tour lively, interesting, nurturing our curiosity about the city’s rich past. I highly recommend!

It was really very interesting to know the history of social struggle in Brussels, that of the working class and popular district of Marolles, its past, present and future. Really recommended.

Two hours of exciting sightseeing with an excellent guide. Even knowing this neighborhood so endearing Marolles, I learned a lot about its history and discovered some places for the first time. I really enjoyed it.

Very interesting tour given by a very friendly guide! I highly recommend both to those who come to Brussels for the first time and to those who already know the city! 😊
