This was a long 2 hour hike but worth it. So be prepared. The waterfall was beautiful. We tried the 104 degree hot spring. It's better than any sauna. Lol. Deigo knew everything about the park and even the wildlife. Lunch buffer was good and had some traditional Costa Rican food.

It was very hot so be prepared. I was disappointed we didn’t see more animals and birds. We did see an iguana, white faced monkeys, a pretty blue butterfly and a turkey. I really wanted to see a toucan. Overall a pretty rough hike with the hot sun.

The ride there was long, however that was expected. The tour guide was very knowledgable and he was very passionate about the park, nature. He was very kind and made sure everyone in the van was comfortable. I love the small group feel. We had enough time at the hot springs and waterfall, and the lunch was delicious.

This was a great day but they told us to bring too much stuff! You don’t need a towel, bug spray or a change of clothes. Just bring a bathing suit, sandals, sun screen, running shoes and Pura Vida attitude - super fun day!

It was an amazing day trip for our family. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The food was good. The volcanic activities including trekking, hot springs, mud bath and waterfall all made for an enjoyable and unique experience.
