• The absolute best experience you can have in Maui!

  This past Sunday, we had the pleasure of the Magic Of Maui Experience taking us on the Road To Hana. We had read many people saying rent a car and drive yourself using the app, to that I say not a good idea. My wife and I were both able to enjoy all of the views and all of the sites that were pointed out to us by our amazing driver/guide/new friend Patrick! If you’re driving yourself, you’re missing out. From the moment we booked this the owner, Dana, was exceptional in her communication and assistance in making sure this was the right tour for us. Patrick did an excellent job of taking care of us customizing our tour and making sure we saw everything we wishes to see and things that we never would’ve dreamed of seeing! In the past, I’ve had some challenges with motion sickness and had mentioned this to Dana, and upon arrival, Patrick had actually set up so that I could ride in the front seat if I was worried about the motion sickness issue. While I decided to ride in the back with my wife, it was a very thoughtful way to begin our day. There are too many stops to call them all out, but one that really will be remembered is when Patrick took us to be up close to Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees and picked us fresh strawberry guava’s, that we had never had before, but they were wonderful. Patrick also provided some insight for stops that we would’ve never thought of such as Uncle Russell’s Legendary Huli Huli Chicken for an awesome lunch and for amazing Dark Chocolate at the all organic self sustainable cacao farm East Maui Chocolate. Thank you Dana for setting this up and thank you Patrick for all that you did for us. We really enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend the Magic Of Maui Experience !!

  Wow! My husband and I took a seven day cruise to Hawaii December 6-13th 2025. Two days we were docked in Maui. Our first day we booked half Road to Hana and the Haleakala volcano Sunset tour with the magic of Maui experience. After reading many reviews and looking at their Instagram post, I was convinced we needed to book this private tour! Our tour guide was Yvonne! Very easy to meet near our ship (sent us a text where she would be & a picture of her & the vehicle! Easy Peezy!) and she made our day and night one of the best memorial parts of our vacation! I consider her my new BFFlol! We seen waterfalls, black sand beaches, most of all the sun setting at dusk on top of the volcano was magical. She surprised us with seats , blankets, warm jackets, clothing, the cutest Shark Onesie, snacks and the topper was hot cocoa in aloha campfire cups! I could go on and on, but if anybody is wondering if the road to Hana is really worth it ? it is! And if your fear of windy roads and are double guessing…just know, they have very nice vehicles and Yvonne was an awesome driver! The trip up to the top of the volcano did give me a little anxiety, but I took Dramamine & Yvonne knew how to help me focus with laughter ( and bags of popcorn, popping in the backseat!) and great conversation /hawaiian music! If ever we go back, I am definitely reaching out for this experience ,,,all the way from booking the trip with the owner, Dana to giving a warm farewell hug to Yvonne.,,until next time,,,Highly suggest! And don’t forget, they will stop wherever and whenever you want to see lots of other things in Maui, food trucks anything …now that is above and beyond! Much Love from the Skup Dogs in Illinois!   It was an unforgettable experience, with Jackie as our host, for our family of 5. She tailored our experience on the fly for exactly what we were looking for. Not only the standard visit spots, but a couple off the beaten path locations! We will definitely be seeking her out in any future visits!   We booked the full day and Nicole was our driver. We had a blast she had a great personality and funny stories. We stopped at some cool water falls and also some fruit stands. On the way home we played a game with our 8yr old Jacey and we still remember the words lol We’re going to the party and we’re bringing a Apple, Boombox, CD, Dog, Elephant, Fireworks, Giraffe, Hat, Ice, Jack fruit, Kite, Lemon, Monkey, Napkin, Oyster, Pineapple, Queen, Rabbit, Stacy, Tomato, Unicorn, Viola, White Claw, Xylophone, You guys, Zebra

  We booked the private full day Road to Hana tour on 11/16/ 2025. Our tour guide Yvonne was absolutely wonderful. You can tell she loves giving these tours. She is very knowledgeable about the area and she was just fun to be around. I highly recommend this tour. It was my favorite tour on my 10 day vacation.

  Stacey made our Tour top-notch! She was so knowledgeable and made everything more interesting. She really cared about our comfort and provided us with a 10/10 tour. She was also our private photographer. It was so worth doing the VIP private tour.

  We booked a private tour with Magic of Maui and our guide David was genuinely unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up, he was warm, organized, funny, incredibly knowledgeable, and completely tuned in to what we hoped to see and do. The company kindly adjusted our start to earlier than usual so we could be back by mid-afternoon, and David managed the timing flawlessly. In one seamless, joy-filled flow we wandered beneath rainbow eucalyptus trees, caught glimpses of green sea turtles, walked along striking black sand and red sand beaches, savored Aunt Sandy’s famous banana bread with a breathtaking ocean view, swam in a waterfall, tasted raw cacao straight from the pod, sampled the rare and delicious monstera deliciosa fruit, enjoyed fresh fish in Hana, watched David expertly chop open a coconut for us to drink and share, and even got to examine black sand and tiny flecks of peridot through a microscope he carries with him—it was such a thoughtful, unique touch. It was a trip of all the senses. We enjoyed the sights, flavors, textures, and sounds of Maui wrapped together. David’s stories and explanations bringing the culture, history, plants, and wildlife to life in a way that felt both fun and deeply respectful. His driving on the famously windy roads was exceptionally smooth and safe, letting us relax and soak in the scenery, and even when it started raining on the way back, we felt completely at ease in his care. His easy conversation and enthusiasm made every moment feel special. He truly went above and beyond, fit everything in, and got us back right on time; we couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more magical day.

  This was an exceptional day overall! It starts with the company being great by giving you all the information you need in advance to ensure you can make the most out of your day and not worry about anything so you can just enjoy the adventure. Their tips about the best way to fight getting carsick 110% helped save my wife from a rough time and let her focus on the fun! Our guide, Te'a, did everything to make the day memorable for us. She texted us the night before so we knew what vehicle to look for and remind us about everything we'd need. She was prompt in the morning and very warm, friendly, and open. She definitely had a genuine love for the island and it shows with how she approached describing everything and the way she planned our day around the stuff we cared about. She was just as excited as we were when we were asking her to do some non-standard "nerdy" stuff like go look at Charles Lindberg's gravesite. She was great at talking about the history and culture of the various parts we visited as well as how things tie together (which is stuff we asked a lot about). We really enjoyed seeing all the wonderful beaches and trees but had a blast in the lava tube.   Wonderful experience. Highly recommend. Our guide (Yvonne) did everything to make this a memorable experience. She was also studied on local culture, history and the types of plants we were seeing which we really enjoyed her sharing. I am so glad we didn’t try this on our own.
