There is no better way to end a day in Halkidiki than watching the sunset from the peace and tranquility of our sea kayaks. Our Vourvourou Sea Kayak Sunset trip take in the atmosphere of the long summer evenings of Halkidiki in the best possible way. Experience the tranquility of the calm Vourvourou bay and the different shades of orange and red take over the landscape as the sun sets behind the hills. Relax and enjoy. There is little boat traffic at this hour. So we get the water to our ourselves.

On average this trip includes a 30 minutes preparation time 1 hour paddling exploration in Vourvourou bay and Diaporos island and 2 hours free time for swimming, snorkeling, snacks, fruits, relaxation, photographs and more. An ideal outdoor activity for families, couples and friends to get out on the water.

What To Expect

On average this trip includes a 30 minutes preparation time 1-hour paddling exploration in Vourvourou bay and Diaporos island and 2 hours free time for swimming, snorkeling, snacks, fruits, relaxation, photographs and more. We start this tour with a short lesson on the beach to go over the elements of kayaking including safety issues, proper paddling techniques, steering and stability tips. We learn also the various details of our journey. Then we paddle in the calm waters of Vourvourou bay, heading over to one of the beaches on the south side of Diaporos island. On the beach, we will have our first rest stop to swim and snorkel in the crystal blue waters of the small bay and to take photographs of the beautiful scenery. Then we will have another stop, where we will stretch our legs and enjoy a quick refreshing swim and snorkeling in the cool waters. We get on top of the rock formations to admire the stunning Sunset view and to capture the tranquility with our cameras! Here usually we indulge in our healthy snacks and fresh fruits to regain all our physical and mental powers for the trip back.

We had an excellent trip paddling from the beach to the island across. Had a bit of time for snorkeling, eating fruit and finally paddled towards the sunset. It takes a bit of effort to paddle all the way, nothing too crazy, but still noteworthy. Our guide was very helpful and friendly.

Great tour and really awesome experience. I booked the tour gor me and my son - both with no experience. The tour was to the Diaporos island- fine white sand and crystal water. I got a complimentary bottles of water, snacks and fresh fruits. Highly recommended- will come again.

We discovered the kayak tour via Tripadvisor and went to Vouverou without further ado and booked for the following day. The next day we were then at the agreed time as, however, a bad weather front came up during this time and the Manolo said it would be better the following day. What we could do gladly and without problems. It was a great and beautiful experience and a super sunset in Manolo's stone living room. Service and handling totally easy and courteous. Thanks for the great evening.

A fantastic trip! The guide brought traditional snacks along which kept our energy levels high for the 6km kayak which we were about to take at our own pace. He knew loads of facts about the area and was super unbeat. The highlight of our trip to Greece ! Plus the sunset and views were glorious!

We booked this as a special treat for our daughter who specifically requested a kayak trip to an island while on holiday in Greece. We weren’t disappointed. We had a beautiful evening paddling, saw some parts of Halkidiki that we had not yet explored and loved every second. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Communications we’re great in the run up to the trip and he even made us a great dinner recommendation for after. 5 stars!

This was my first time ever trying kayak. I was so exited about it! It turns out I was the only one willing this trip that day. Nevertheless, one awesome lady from the team took me to this one in a lifetime tour! It was pure magic! Great beaches, crystal clear water and great company! You couldn't ask for more! Amazing sunset with unrealistically smooth water! Thank you so so much!

We dis the Kayak trip, it was perfection from the beginning until the end. Nikos the owner is the best, he toke about an hour explaining to us what we should visit and how to do it, thanks to him the last week of our holidays rocks as hell. The kayak trip was very well organised, secured, funny. 2 days later we rented a boat for the day, it was perfect too, really, we are SO SO HAPPY that we met this guy and his team, they are all kind and cute (especially Emily the dog ^^). Don't hesitate, it's the best !
