Visit the Baroque masterpiece Melk Abbey, perched above the Danube, and explore its church, Marble Hall, library, terrace, and gardens.

Traunkirchen is a peaceful lakeside village surrounded by alpine peaks. Stroll the scenic promenade or take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Traunsee. Lake Traunsee is deeper than Lake Hallstatt, offering a unique natural experience for visitors.

The boat trip is not available from November to April. In case of bad weather, the boat trip may be canceled.

End in Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace and a Sound of Music location. See Mirabell Gardens, Mozart’s Birthplace, Getreidegasse, Salzburg Cathedral, Residenzplatz, and Mozartplatz.

Begin your journey in the picturesque Wachau Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its rolling vineyards and medieval villages. If the weather is nice, stop in the quaint town of Dürnstein, where you’ll enjoy a guided walk followed by free time to explore the charming streets and local shops.

Melk Abbey

Wine lovers will have the chance to sample regional wines before continuing the journey. The tour itself was quite good, the places both scenic and historical. The car was quite comfortable and Richard is an excellent guide. Although we have been in Salzburg twice earlier, he shared important details which we were not aware of. The added bonus was a visit to the RedBull Racing facility that too on the same day Verstappen won the F1 in Qatar :-) I would highly recommend availing this tour based on the coverage, comfort level and the fact that with a small group it is not a hurried activity
