The experience was not just the downhill portion (which was really good), but rather the stops on the way up to experience incredible sights and information.

We had an amazing time with Ernesto and Michael- their top concern was our safety, and made every effort to accommodate everyone in our group. The weather can be mercurial in the canyon, but somehow they knew just where to stop for the best views and when to do so. My husband and I had a blast and would do it again tomorrow if we weren’t headed home :(. Highly recommend and don’t miss!

We had such a wonderful time. Ernesto and Micheal were so funny and took great care of us. Totally safe. We were blessed to have a beautiful day after so much rain. You will not regret it.

One of the best tour we have been on. Our guides Ernesto and Tom were engaging, knowledgeable and FUN! We learned about the island, admired the beauty of Waimea canyon. Going downhill was a blast too!

We had a blast with Ernesto and Tom! Lucky for us, we had a tiny group who were all comfortable on our bikes and we FLEW down the hill. SO FUN. Great hosts, great way to get the lay of the land of Waimea Canyon, amazing photo opps, tons of fun.

Had taken us to great lookout views, took funny pictures, and the ride down was smooth. Hardly had to paddle! Tour guides were so cool and informative. Had an 88 yr old grandma in group and she was awesome. Thanks!

This was a phenomenal experience. The team was fun, I'm talking extra fun, and knowledgeable, and delightful. I was looking forward to the experience and it still blew my mind and was so much more than I was expecting. Definitely worth booking!!

Friends That’s what Ernesto made us into for the afternoon. What a joy! So much more than a bike ride! From the light banter on the van ride, like warming up a crowd, our little crowd of travelers, to the subtle reminders of safety issues, sprinkled in at just the right pace to actually connect. It was the care. Ernesto cares about his island. He cares deeply, and although he is not preachy, he gets a powerful message across. Probably because he also cared about us, his fleeting charge for an afternoon. His care is contagious. With Michael as his able assistant, an arborist with plenty of his own wisdom, it was a wonderful package deal. One we will remember for a long time. Thanks Keko, ‘til we meet again!

We have done this excursion before and it was great. So much so that we recommended our friends do it with us while visiting Kauai. Unfortunately this experience fell way short. Rain limited us to making only one stop up the mountain. The views were misty and very compromised. Our bike ride down was very wet and rainy. We had to be very cautious because the roads were slick. We were drenched halfway down the mountain because proper rain gear is not included/provided for the riders. One person in our party had a malfunction with her bike seat and even after it was addressed by one of the guides, she still sat way too low and was uncomfortable for the entire ride down. This excursion should have been canceled due to weather. The bike ride down was unpleasant and unsafe. Overall we were very disappointed as our expectations were set high from our last experience. We would suggest that if there is any chance of rain during your excursion, cancel on your own because the operator won’t and your experience will suffer.
