What To Expect
Get ready for one of Kauaʻi’s most scenic and adrenaline-filled experiences. Begin the journey with a guided van ride through Waimea Canyon, stopping along the way to admire panoramic views, hidden lookouts, and vibrant island landscapes. Once at the top, hop on your hybrid bike for an exhilarating 11.7-mile downhill ride along smooth paved roads. The coast down takes about 45 to 55 minutes, with average speeds around 17–20 mph. If you’re comfortable, you can pick up the pace on the second stretch while enjoying the cool mountain air and breathtaking views. The experience is more than just a bike ride—it’s a fully guided adventure filled with history, connection, and the spirit of Kauaʻi. Finish your journey with a magical sunset at Kekaha Beach, where golden light meets the waves of the Pacific for a perfect photo moment.

5.00Wonderful guides took us on a fabulous and safe coast down Waimea Canyon. It’s a great way to see the canyon as there are stops along the way up to see the sights. Our guides offered wonderful stories and shared knowledge throughout the tour. The coast down was super fun! There wasn’t much traffic going up due to the time of day, so it felt like we had the road to ourselves. Guides were very safety conscious

5.00A MUST DO! Ernesto and Tom made our 4 hour adventure fly by as we explored Waimea Canyon by touring some amazing public (and some more secluded) view points and then by bike. If you are looking to experience beautiful wild natural Kauai and have a lot of fun and get a "lite" workout (coasting downhill), this is for you!

5.00While the actual ride was only about 50 minutes, our guide made it a full afternoon activity with wonderful stories, fun trivia games, mulitiple breath taking stops at various vista points, and embued an appreciation for the island and Hawaiian culture overall. A fabulous experience I would easily repeat. The guides, Ernesto and Michael were really great and engaging while maintaining a strong sense of safety and discipline while not impeding the fun in the slightest.

5.00Tom and Ernesto made every minute of the day entertaining, engaging and informative. We learned a great deal about history and nature on our way to the starting point almost 4000 feet above sea level. The ride was memorable and the photos Ernesto took are professional quality.
